The room had a used condom in the first drawer left side of the bed. We asked the housekeeping guy to not make it a news and just get it cleaned but he did not. Had to informed the reception guy with still no solution for the hygiene issues and cleanliness

overall the experience was good rooms were nice the pool was nice. the only problem was the cost of the food was too high and quantity was very less disappointed on that part

Iwould like to say that this place is a suite for a group stay not for family and about food The nearby cafe alibaug is there. The food is awesome at a reasonable price.

everything is charged even on empty plate and glass .no tv .the service was also not good.need yo train the staff they just not aware about the offers and stuff

Staff was polite. Rooms were good. No room amenities though except AC. No TV or intercom. A little overpriced from that perspective. Food has a lot of room for improvement too.

The checkin time was around 15-20 mins. The food served which was idli was very poor in terms of taste and it took 40 mins preparation and didn’t justify the price. The room wall were flaking and the floor was also not clean

The hostel was really good, the ambience, the comfort and food everything was good. I loved the exceptional service of the employees and they were very welcoming and we were very glad to have stayed with them.

It's not a Hotel. it's a hostel. No service will be provided. Even you'll have to pay for water. The swimming pool was the dirtiest. The only good thing was the amphitheatre.

Dorm was clean and washroom was also ok. Hostel is 30 mins drive from alibag. Some good restaurants nearby. But you need vehicle to stay here. Overall good experience staying here

Food was not up to the mark. We had order panner rice but no panner in it. Secondly we had ordered chicken sandwich and no chicken. Third dish was chicken biryani were quantity was very less

Rooms were not well maintained. Bathroom had no bucket. Property needs maintenance. Check in process is tedious.

my wife and i stayed at gostops alibaug for a day, and while the place has its positives, there are also a few downsides to consider. booking & check-in experience we booked a private room, but there was no option to choose a private room with a balcony. if you want a balcony, you’ll have to book it separately at a different rate. the check-in process was quite lengthy, and we were not given an option to choose our room. if you get a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor, be prepared to carry your own luggage since there’s no lift. rooms & facilities on the positive side, the rooms and washrooms were clean, which is always a big plus. the property has good amenities like a chess board, ludo, pool table, and jenga, along with an amphitheater that has a great sound system. the entire hostel is well air-conditioned with a generator backup in case of power failure. car parking is available, and the location is convenient, just 3.5 km from kihim beach and right on the main road. food & dining experience the food was quite disappointing. it mostly consists of frozen, ready-to-eat meals that are just reheated. i ordered a chicken thali, and the laccha paratha was cold and clearly store-bought. the chicken makhani tasted like tomato soup with a strong preservative smell, similar to knorr soup products, and the same applied to the makhani dal. if you order food through their app, you’ll have to collect it yourself as there’s no room service. other points to consider - food is available 24/7, but the quality isn’t great. - you’re not allowed to wash clothes in the washroom. - if you’re carrying heavy luggage, the lack of a lift can be inconvenient. - a good point is that they allow you to carry food to your room, and you also have the option to order from zomato. *overall verdict:* ⭐ **3/5** – the property is clean, well-located, and has great common areas, but the food quality and check-in experience need improvement. if you’re looking for a budget stay with good facilities and don’t mind ordering food from outside, it’s a decent option.
