Galaxy Homestay

We got welcomed by the owner Viral Bhatt, when we dropped our bags and he made us feel nice and comfortable at their home stay. He is very polite and supportive and would guide you best tour planning options. Also, the place is quite brilliant for a big family or a group of friends who don't want couple rooms. Also the route to SOU from the homestay is quite nice and smooth, so even if its 25 kilometres to SOU, you will reach there in 20-25 minutes. The place is just a homestay and you won't get food or anything, just tea or coffee. The guests need to look for their dinner options outside. Do not go to other Galaxy Homestay (which is nearby and on the way to/from SOU) for dinner/lunch as the Galaxy Homestay is just pathetic, it looks good from outside but has very bad food. Just look elsewhere! You will get many options but overall I think, this is the best place to stay (Tent City is a very expensive option if you are having a big family) as it offers good clean big rooms for family and friends to enjoy and it also has a terrace to their VIP suite.

The concept of homestay is yet to trend fully in India. I was however quite intrigued when I saw that a homestay was available at Rajpipla of all the places. I stayed here with my family (my wife and my parents) for one night while we were on our tour to statue of unity. The owner is very warm and friendly and the moment you step inside the Galaxy Homestay you will find yourself in a homely feeling. The rooms are quite spacious and well maintained. For those who are not aware of the concept of homestay let me urge you to not compare it with Galaxy Homestays. It offers all the basic necessities that you would require for a night or two. What however comes as the USP is the experience wherein the property owner is staying in the same house and attends to you in the most homely manner. Few knick-knacks could be improved of course but then all such small imperfections gives a homestay, its unique character. A recommended location for anyone travelling to statue of unity and who want their family to stay together.

Viral was very helpful and he guided us well. Home stay was very good neat and tidy. Viral’s parents were very hospitable. We never felt that we were outsiders. Rather they made us more comfortable. Uncle and aunt y were very nice and treated us as own family members. Really enjoyed a very comfortable stay with viral’s family.

With my 75 yrs aged mother and 4 of us looking for a genuine home stay environment, we could get the same with a great hospitality, walk by distance from st bus station, walking distance jain temple so didn't skip my puja, support on travel by recommending schedule, vehicle support etc.

Exceptional hospitality and homely atmosphere. The host provided great tips which helped immensely during the trip. Will definitely recommend families visiting statue of unity. Since, the location is on the way to sou, this is a great choice even if the facility is located at rajpipla.

We liked the way the owner helped to reach location. Very informative and quick response from owner. For food you have to look for Galaxy Homestay outside stay location as it is a homestay and they don't offer any food menu

Owner was helpful on phone for direction. But due to some reason he was not there and his old father and mother was taking care which was painful.
