The stay was very pleasant and the hospitality is very good especially mr nitin took good care of us. Food was delicious and service was on point.

very Nice property and very well maintained. Very polite and nice staff. It has an amazing view from the lounge, rooms and balcony. Wonderful nice local food and a loving cute dog. Nitin the caretaker and the owner , Mr Hanut and his mom all were wonderful hosts. Overall experience was better than 5 star hotel.

This was not a hotel. This was home stay. And all poor systems. Nothing was good.

We were mesmerized by the location. Ambiance was rich elegant.Our room,common area, and dining space were decorated with antic pieces. Staff are courtious and polite,also attentive.We have enjoyed our stay at Khajjiar a lot. Definitely refer to other to experience the magic

Deodar Manor is a heritage 120byear old property having awesome location. Fabulous views of Pirpanjal and Dhuladhar range snow capped mountains. Khajiyar meadow known as mini Switzerlad is at a walking distance. Caretaker Nitin takes sepcial care of specific Jain food needs. Staff is friendly. Provides good guidance of tracks near by. No need of fan or AC. In fact you may need heater at night. We had a fantastic family holiday.

What a wonderful experience ! Once you are here, you do not need to go for any sight seeing expedition. Just sit in the porch, look at the glorius sight of snow capped peaks, listen to the rustling of pine trees, occasional chirping of birds, soak in the atmosphere. Staying in this well maintained and beautifully decorated colonial house with only five rooms is a life time experience. Add to that home cooked simple food and ever eager team of Mr Nitin ! i wish i cud stay longer. Here is my tribute to Mr Hanut, the grcaful owner of this property : Down the way, where the nights are gay, and the sun shines on the mountain top / i took a trip, on make my trip, when i reached Deodar Manor, i made a stop. / But i am sad to say, i am on my way, and wont be back for many a day, my heart is down, my head is turning around, to leave Mr Haut in Khajjiar town !! (apologies to the great Mr Harry Bellafonte).

Deodar manor is a beautiful heritage property with breathtaking views. We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff was very friendly. Had a long conversation with hanut’s mom, she’s such a sweet lady. I would highly recommend anyone visiting dalhousie or khajjiar to stay there.

Great location and everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Had an excellent stay for 2 nights. The property is picturesque and the family dog Shadow is so adorable. The manager Nitin Kumar is super helpful and amiable and the rest of the staff Vishal and Ankit deserves a shout out too. Vishal is a talented cook and all our meals were so homely, wholesome and delicious. The owner’s mother is a lovely lady who was very welcoming and kind. Overall had a wonderful stay here with my mother and will definitely come back!

My parents and I stayed here for 3 nights. We were looking for a clean property with fantastic views and Deodar Manor delivered !! The rooms and bathrooms are impeccably clean. Trinkets around the house will have you occupied for a major part of the day, the art and heritage pieces are fabulous. The owner Hanut was around to provide additional information on the history of the house- a 120 year old mansion. The food was home made and delectable. Nithin, the care taker took great care of us. The house pet, Shadow , is so gentle and kind that my parents loved spending time with him while soaking in the morning sun. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great view, proximity to the Khajjiar meadow and immaculate service.

Deodar manor is a beautiful place to stay. It is a great getaway for anyone who wants to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. It offers stunning views of the pier panjal and kailash mansarovar mountains. You can also watch paragliding while being in the comfort of your own room. The place offers piping hot, good quality home cooked food so anyone who is looking for spicy and restaurant quality food won’t be thrilled. The quantity of food served it also very good. Nitin ji was an exceptional host and helped us with all our needs throughout our stay at the manor.

I stayed in deodar manor for 2 nights with my family. This was my first time experience of homestay and it was great. The property is nice, views are stunning, it has a old world charm and food is home like. Would like to mention about mr. Nitin and his team who were very humble and prompt.

I travel-led alot but this is one of the best stay till now. Staff was very humble, soft spoken. Location wise it's best such a calm and pleasant atmosphere.
