Hotel Devdar, Khajjiar (HPTDC)

We booked a cottage. It was spacious and weather was chilling.

Dated and unclean. Excellent food and location

For a place in such a remote location, The room offered are clean with clean beds and washroom. The staff is very helping and good host. View is spectacular, unreal.

The hotel is right beside the Khajjiar lake and offers an awesome view of the lake and ground. We stayed at DBR super deluxe. The rooms are clean and big. The staffs are polite. The view of Khajjiar lake and ground from the window and the balcony made our day. The only negative thing which I found was that the towels were old. The food at the restaurant is good.

Hotel staff is very good. Manager welcomed us. Room service was very prompt. Food was good.

Hotel manager behavior is good, but we are stay only 2 hours.

The location very good. Nice place, but hyped one. Very dirty hotel. Rooms are quite big but not maintained. The quilts not been washed since day 1. But you can find room heater in each room and views are beautiful. Overall so so. If you are planning for 1 night stay then fine, but not more than that.

The Hotel is very close to Khajjiar Lake and The staff Mr. Dutta, Hemraj Ji, Pankaj and The entire team were excellent at serving. Food choice and quality was exceptional.

We stayed in a deluxe room which was a small cottage and perfect for a winter getaway. Place is peaceful and well equipped for winter conditions. The location is its biggest plus point. It is exactly next to The Lake and Snow Valley.

We get hot water after very delay.

As the hotel is in the heart of Khajjiar so an excellent location. Staff is very good. They respond to every query of yours. Only negative point is a little lack of amenities being a government hotel, but that is something you can get over as it has good food, location and well behaved staff.

Right at the Khajjiar Valley with great view. Room were comfortable with basic facilities. Food was good.

The property is owned by Himachal Tourism and is very poorly maintained. However, it’s an awesome location to enjoy nature’s beauty. The hotel staff is very courteous, provides excellent service and are always ready to help. The food in the restaurant is also very good and is cooked to your choice. Mr. Prithvi Chandra Sharma at the Devdar hotel needs special mention for the excellent courtesy extended during our visit. Overall we enjoyed the food and the natural beauty all around.
