Dandelion by the Hills

This is a paradise in hills, you can not get a better place than this. Less ppl, peaceful and beautiful. At dandelion they go out of box to make you feel comfortable and are genuinely concerned of their customers, reason being the owner mr himanshu involved in everything. Now the point wise review location- is serene the moment you reach you realise it, on top lies a beautiful resort surrounded by hills with everything including river and roads visible tiny beyond it from the top. Within a km is a local village with sweet simple people and a temple of history. You can easily track to it even with kids, we did track with our 2 yrs and 8 yrs daughters. Service - the staff of 7 pp l of which i know names of 4 in 2 days virender, vikram, santosh and their amazing yet simple chef shiv are really awesome ppl. They don't just say no to anything and are quicker than many 5 star Dandelion by the Hillss in services. Food- though the options were limited but taste and quality was amazing, inf-act perfect. Entertainment- they have a recreation room which has some games but not really much upgraded but definitely nice. Rooms/property- rooms are big with the balcony which makes the property more amazing coz the mesmerizing view of hills we get from every rooms balcony and evn from the room is just breathtaking. Weather- weather is pleasant in summers of june, even in jun e it was not hot but yes not cold either, it was pleasant even in sun we never sweat. Environment - with mountains all around, river flowing beneath there cant be anything better. Except for mahasu devta temple you need to drive up and down the steep roads every time since with kids it was not possible to do so for safety point so we preferred to keep in and around property yet 2 days felt short. I would definitely want to visit again

Pros: a well maintained property in the lap of hills, good food and polite staff; cons: the property needs a manager to take charge in absence of the owner (who was away for most part of our stay when we were around for our 3nights stay, one must be comfortable making encounters with some large insects in the room since the property is literally in middle of the hills, not so much of a comfortable ride getting there - one must try reaching in broad daylight, we were the only couple staying in the entire property for our first 2 nights - not popular yet but has a lot of potential to get there

It was an outstanding experience.... The property is at a beautiful location, with easy access...the drive from Dehradun to Lakhwar is a memorable one. the Staff is friendly and Helpful...the Chef is extremely and amazingly Gifted... overall a recommendation for those looking for a Getaway lookout..

Amazing 😍 experience we had as a couple ,as a family. We stayed with our kid & he also enjoyed alot. Property is extraordinary...Love to go there soon. We really wish we can make a decision to stay for one more extra day.

5. Everything was much more than excellent! staff are gems! very rarely we get such service! the mind blowing location of the property made the stay so refreshing that one would like to visit again!

It was a beautiful place with scenic and serene view. One can really go and enjoy the property. Yamuna river is near and you can just sit over there and enjoy the beautiful nature.

Very well maintained property which has been done up very tastefully. The location is very peaceful and picturesque. Amazing food and courteous staff. Great for weekend getaways.

The stay was great view from the aster suite was awesome service n food was also very good. Best time to plan is after rain
