It was beautiful stay in a serene atmosphere

The property is located in a convenient location that was easy to find. The surrounding's location of the property was peaceful and safe. The staffs were very well behaved. The food was delicious and good in quality and the homely food has been provided that was really awesome. The property is highly recommended for others.

soloWords fall short of describing the place and the hosts (Mr and Mrs Suresh). It's more a home rather than a property in the middle of nature. I spent four days and enjoyed every moment of the stay and was looked after like their child. A must-visit for anyone looking for time away from the hustle and bustle. You also get to experience pottery with Mrs. Suresh guiding you through each step, it's yet another calming experience. The food is authentic and wholesome and is served with care. A special mention for the ever helpful staff Srilatha, Siddu and Shalini.

A great getaway for nature and Art lovers

The rooms and surrounding buildings were beautifully designed, well maintained, and clean. The food made by the locals was delicious. The property included farm animals, a variety of trees and herbal plants, and a massive pottery studio where classes are held on request.

coupleFantastic stay. Calm and serene place with delicious home cooked Kerala style food. Lots of greenery to merge with nature. Pottery classes on offer for the enthusiasts. Cherry in top is the warm hospitality of Mr. Suresh and mrs. Hasina. The whole experience was furthered by these wonderful hosts.

Don't get your hands dirty with Clayfingers

Had high hopes before check in, only to be disappointed at equal measure. This place is more of a guest house than a hotel. Severely understaffed and poor service. Looks management is very undecided about accommodating guests sticking to their arts principles. Hope they clear their heads and make a decision or remove it from listings.

Clayfingers Art Cottages is not a hotel at all, but can be thought of as Clayfingers pottery's proprietary guest house for all those willing to indulge in the natural environment and our Art spaces, and for those looking for an escape from their hectic lives to find a little bit of peace every now and then. We provide a comfortable space for people to live alongside, or engage in, an organic and naturalistic ally minded lifestyle. We're sorry that you felt that we were understaffed during your stay on your next visit, you could inform us in advance before 5 PM local time if you and your wife will be arriving late, so that our kitchen staff can prepare dinner at your request. We are happy to accommodate guest check inns at any time of day or night, but do understand that most of our staff will be heading home at night, and so prior arrangements must be made for meals. We would like to extend our sincerest apologies to you and your wife for any miscommunication, and we hope that the two of you will return for an enjoyable stay. With best regards, Clayfingers team.
