By Air: It takes about 1 hour to reach Manali from its nearest airport at Bhuntar, Kullu-Manali Airport. Air India is the major domestic airline that flies directly from Delhi and Chandigarh to this airport. By Train: Manali, being situated at an altitude of 2050m above sea level, has no direct train services. There are trains available from Delhi to Pathankot.
