Banabithi Resort

We completed a One night stay at Banabithi resort during Nov'25. Weather was fine. Location is very convenient for everyone, by bus, train, rental cabs or personal vehicles. Rooms are excellent for budget to premium options. In winter after opening the door & window, sunlight filled my entire room including the bed. Beautiful gardens, multiple parks for all age groups, walking pathways are wide and kept clean. There are playgrounds for cricket, football, volleyball, badminton and facilities for carrom and a library. Sitting arrangements are unlimited, varied, beautifully decorated and well maintained. There is Banquet hall, discothèque, lounges, arrangements for barbeque and bonfire. There are several grounds to arrange big parties and celebrations. Resort is very very big, with vast open areas under the sky, alongside most modern facilities to chill and relax and have a lifetime experience. Food was good, and to be specific, in my case the "pabda sarshe" fish plate was not that good, but dinner with roti and mixed veg and of course the next morning complimentary breakfast was too good. Above all the swimming pool was among the best that i have visited so far. All services are quite good and prompt and the behavior of each and every staff right upto the managers and executives was excellent. Wi-Fi was excellent and there was outside gym facilities

The complimentary breakfast was good. For lunch, we had both fish and chicken — the fish was delicious, while the chicken was average. The property is well-maintained, surrounded by plenty of greenery and open space. There’s also a dedicated play area for children. We especially enjoyed the fishing experience during our stay. Overall, it’s a great place for a short 1–2 day getaway if you’re looking to relax amidst nature and enjoy a peaceful, village-like atmosphere.

Swimming pool not working.. communication error.. food is good.. amenities mainly swimming pool closed dirty water..

Awesome property with great ambience and customer service is very good. Food is very tasty but a little expensive. Complimentary breakfast buffet provides a wide range of delicacies. Overall a very fulfilling and fun filled experience.

Its s very good resort. Best time to oct to dec . Eco friendly....... food also good

property and swimming is well maintained... food experience is also good but i think management can be more better... they don't treat customer as like customer.. they think we are nothing for them.. if you ask any thing lyk if we sitting there lawn asking some watier to took oder for some snacks they denied you have to go room and need to call them.. if you ask someone to come and talk physical and take lunch or dinner oder they also denied that... and there resturant full for their day outing visit and they ask todo our lunch at our room and they take charges for that room service charges.. if they serve some tea in also they aske room charges.. this things are not good....

We were pleased beyond expectations regarding our stay. The entire resort is very beautiful and easy to reach from Kolkata. Rooms are well maintained. Room service was prompt. Food was very tasty but a bit expensive. Everyone was very friendly over there.

Property is very well maintained and full of greenary. It's good to see that they are expanding. Will wait for our next visit. Check-in and check-out was very quick. Food quality was delicious and the interior of the restaurant was fabulous. Please don't use the road from Newtown.

I want to recommend "Banabithi Resort" to others for refreshment and a luxurious stay because ~ @ Good Quality Food @ Excellent Services & Behavior of All Staffs. @ Location and Presentation of the Resort is Excellent.

The place is in great location, room service was up to mark, food was also excellent... Pool and the property area was centre of attraction

Property is nice but the service isn’t. Did a mistake on my order then they adjusted it by sending a dessert of same price. Which was unnecessary as we already ordered desserts. Bengali cuisines were good but the continental ones were below average.. bad. Overall experience is average to good

Location wise in a convenient location and easy to reach from Kolkata main city and suburbs. Good property with amusement for children, neat and clean and Stuffs are well behaved. Food tastes very average and highly expensive with respect to quality

Amazing experience. This is my second time visit after 2 years. Amazing hospitality, lovely rooms, infrastructure, excellent staff behaviour, excellent food, well organised place, fantastic ambiance. Separate kids playing place. Though foods might look little overpriced but the quality one gets is fantastic. Presence of amazing ducks and other pet animals. The place is now expanded. A separate restaurant is there with amazing decoration nearby. The place is expanding with more rooms to be added. Separate 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler parking facility is there free of cost. Would like to visit again.

The location , ambience , greenery and serenity is really nice for someone looking for a break from busy life in city. The food is really nice both continental and Indian . The services are professional.

A wonderful experience. if you need to take a refreshment then definitely you have to visit.. especially Room Kolaboti was superb.
