Very bad experience I am not reaching hotel for stay Because of govt policy I requested many times to hotel for cancellation but no positive response.

I was not able to travel because the permit from gangtok to lachung was not being issued due to heavy rain and when I requested for a refund they were not processing even though it clearly says you have to provide refund for causes like natural calamities. I would definitely recommend ****** which offers same deals with a perk of paying at the property and Free cancellation a few hour before check in

Power cut, extra charges for everything. service is very very bad. Food is limited and very avg in taste.

Property Location and amenities &services are good. Food quality and varieties need to be increased.

Rooms, balcony, and view were amazing. Except the staff of the hotel were not friendly enough and they showed least bothered about their guest. When I arrived, they did not come to pick up baggages until I told them. In breakfast, I told them to make 2 cup of tea for me, but they refused. When I told the staff to refill water, they didn't show up. I had to go till the kitchen to refill water. Thupka, the authentic cuisine of sikkim, was made disinterestedly, and it did not taste good. They did not tell the quantity of the food for two member. So when we ordered we got two big bowls of thupka which we had thrown away. After that, I got food poisoning. When we had to check out, which I had told them the time one day prior, nobody showed for check out. I had to take all the bags to the car. I had to shout at the staff while checking out as we were getting late to leave for gangtok. Hence, I recommend others not to select this hotel.

We had a great stay here for 1 night. The location was awesome, view from balcony was mesmerizing, foods were tasty, room was well equipped, toilet was neat & clean & there was geyser also. Room service was very good. We enjoyed the stay here. I'll give 5 star rating & highly recommend this Cottage.

This hotel was a terrible choice, first of all we reached there and for 45 minutes there was no one available I had to call the number of the property 3-4 times, then after waiting for 45 minutes one kid around 15 years came to help us check in, I had booked one of the premium room there but my room tv had no remote to operate it, when I asked an the remote they said there is no remote, and we were supposed to get breakfast at 7 o'clock as we had to leave for sightseeing at 7:30, which is obvious schedule in all the hotels in lachung, but even at 7:30 when I asked for the breakfast for which I had already paid while making the reservation, they said it will be around 8:30 or 9 since their cook was not available, I had to leave without having the breakfast, over all worst stay ...there was no adult at the property throughout, couple of teenagers managing it

It's good, and we felt good. The flooring is with carpet, so it's warm. During winter................

Room photos were not matching. And were not good quality. No shampoo also in bathroom. Food was good

Property is decent. It's value for the money spent. The staff is very polite and professional. Service is good. Food is good. Band/karaoke is excellent. Hospitality is great. It's in a very good location with a hill view. Over all 5 out of 5 stay experience. Thx

Staff was courteous. Location is nice and on the way to zero point. Rooms are clean but relatively smaller and sufficient for couples, for families with kids it might be challenging.

For anyone looking for even the basic hygiene- stay away from this place. If you are budget conscious, and don’t mind sleeping in uncharged sheets, bathrooms that don’t work, broken latches and hearing the lowest sound from the room next to yours then go ahead.

The hotel is okay and the staff is very nice and helpful. But the cleanliness really needs to upgrade. Heaters are charged extra which is fine but electricity wasn’t there for one whole night. The hotel did not charge for that night so that was a consideration. Food was okay and served hot. Overall it’s an okay stay for lachung as the place is mainly only for tourists. Also carry sound proof sleeping earplugs as the other tourists in the hotel can really be loud at night.

The people here at hotel are very nice and polite. The stay is also very comfortable one with a great view.

Average stay, the staff were good but there was no electricity throughout the whole night and only a backup generator was working that also not properly. Overall it was good

Positives- cottage is situated in a very nice location and cottage is neat and clean and well maintained. Staffs are good and helpful. Negatives- electricity is a big concern here. Due to mountain reason. Power cuts happen too much and durations of power cut also long hours. Cottage has power back up system based on invert-er battery which hardly gives you 1-3 hours max after that you have only candle as a power source. Also room amenities need to be improved. Secondly, food is very average specially veg items. I had only eggs curry and vegetables only both are average. So if these two problem if cottage counter then it will be great place to stay.

Me and my friend stayed at apple valley on 17th march, 2024. The stay was comfortable. Prashant was very helpful.
