Aizawl Guest House

I have one complain about the guest house after paying the full amount in advance they are charging 1000 rupees advance.....which is quite frustrating.....and while it's their turn to refund the advance amount we are finding it difficult.

From picking up from the airport until out stay and daily commute. Mary has been really helpful I’m arranging everything. The staff including the chef, cleaning lady and receptionist were very polite and welcoming.

hotel is very clean but food cost to much. Location is good.Power backup only for light.

The location is excellent with a very nice view, The room is good with all amenities. Food like breakfast quality is very poor. After having the terrife like+per night Bread cannot be as a breakfast item. Cook could be more friendly. Not even appolozige after having the complaint about so salted eeg curry which not even able to eat. 's bad sheet was not changed during my 3 days of stay.

Since there was no purdah/curtain to cover the window, i had to switch it off all the lights at night time in order to avoid visibility through outside the window, when i questioned them and also informed them that i felt uncomfortable without putting curtain at the window, the only replied was that they took it off at yesterday. Even AC failed to function and i had also lodged a complaint in verbal and i was informed that they were placing an order for the spare parts. Anyway the room is so clean and i love it. I hope to never experience again such horrible inciden for the future 😀

Paradise for travellers , Best location in aizawl , had a great stay in aizawl

Pleasant location & environment.Food was not so good in the test, especially for North Indians. But the staff's behaviour was very pretty. But in respect of the room view at the site the room was too small with respect to the fare. At last we had to pay an INR per day charges as per the room viewed at the website. It's not fair.

Our stay at Aizwal Guest House was, unfortunately, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, almost every aspect of the stay fell far short of basic expectations. Firstly, the room was shockingly dirty. The floors were grimy, the bed linens looked unwashed, and there was dust and debris in corners that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. It was impossible to feel comfortable in such an unhygienic environment. The amenities were equally disappointing. The TV in the room was non-functional, despite repeated complaints to the staff, who seemed indifferent to the issue. The air conditioning unit was also broken, leaving the room stuffy and unbearable, especially in Mizoram’s humid climate. No efforts were made to fix it or offer an alternative solution. The food was another major letdown. The meals served were bland, poorly prepared, and lacked variety. It felt like no care or effort went into the kitchen, and the overall dining experience was deeply unsatisfactory. Worst of all was the staff’s behavior. They were rude, unhelpful, and dismissive when we raised concerns about the room or amenities. There was no sense of hospitality or willingness to address even basic issues, which made the stay even more frustrating. Overall, Aizwal Guest House provided a thoroughly unpleasant experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this place until significant improvements are made in cleanliness, amenities, food quality, and staff conduct. There are far better options elsewhere in Mizoram.

The hotel staff were really nice and sweet. I loved the overall stay, the caretaker even went to an extra mile with a customised meal on our last night, we asked him to get us something which is not in the menu and something with bamboo shoots as we couldn’t spend much time outside to get local food. He made that happen and the food was utmost delicious. Apart from that the manager of the hotel made sure that we got our cabs on time everyday despite of heavy rainfall and thunderstorm and landslides. Can’t thank them enough. Also huge thanks to the cab people who were very sweet and helpful throughout our time there. Must visit this amazing place and meet some amazing people.

Great experience staying this guest house, excellent location very near and walking distance to shopping area. The staff services are excellent throughout and they are very attentive. Thank you very much! Will be back.

The room was stinky. The ac filters were dirty as hell . There was amenities in the room . It was crowded by the the hotel staff as the housekeeping pantry was next to the room. It was pathetic

We had a very comfortable, pleasant & memorable stay. The location is very ideal with a stunning and gorgeous view of the surroundings. The staff were all very courteous, friendly and full of warmth. The housekeeping and food was awesome. Full marks for cleanliness and hygienics It was total value for money.

The place is so good. The view, the staff, the hospitality everything was so nice.

Very pleasant stay it's my favorite guest house, all the stay are very nice, very comfortable, out of space, peaceful l will loved coming back again and again

Aizawl guest house is a place that is really good, the service and the food is also really nice. It is located on the hills of aizawl and gives a mesmerizing view of hills.

The stay was amazing. The hospitality of the people is on another level. From booking cars for our travel to airport pick and drop, we didn't have to bother at all with anything. The food from the in-house restaurant was good too. We got a free upgrade to a studio apartment and the kitchen and utensils were of very good quality also. Overall 11/10

The view is good but the manager girl is totally rude and impolite, i think she has an anger issue, i will never come back because of her
