XRA Cottage

This home-stay is situated exactly in the midway of Joshimath and Auli, gives breathtaking views of Himalaya. Our deluxe room gave mind-blowing view of Himalaya from our wide window all the time. Dinner was served as buffet basis. Food was light and delicious with authentic Garhwal touch. We did not expect hot gulab jamun at Auli in 8 degree, it was really special to us. Best part of our stay was spending some memorable moments with owner Mr. Panwar, international sky champion. Stole my heart.
It is a perfect home stay I have ever stayed.

This is a homestay. The location is halfway to Auli from Joshimath which is All the necessary amenities are available. The food they have is lipsticking. The location and view from the room is breathtaking. The owner is very courteous though he talks less. They also provide skiing lessons at Auli at reasonable rates. The tutor they provided us with, Mr. Shailesh, was amazing and taught us skiing basics within half hour. I would definitely recommend this stay if you're a true traveler and do not expect a lavish stay with all cosmetic amenities.

It was an amazing experience to stay here. Home stay where you actually feel like home. Very silent and surrounded by good people and view. Boppi really helped us in assisting us with good food and good talks about the place. Vivek who is the founder of this place is also a cordial and silent person. His mother is also very smiling. Also to mention about the food it is simple and very healthy. Loved it and hoping to come soon.

We went to Auli for the first time planned to stay at XRA cottages. The place is very easy to find but it's at very high altitude. Rooms and services were very nice. Location is so good that you don't feel like leaving the place at all. Super impressed with the staff and kind of support they provide. A must visit place.

This home stay has the best view in Auli, Vivek is very helpful and getting us sorted when we had issues. The food was good and the rooms were neatly kept.
