Food quality and taste is very bad

No power backup. Electricity is available to guest only 4 hours a day from 6-10 o'clock in evening. No mobile networks. Not value for money.

We reached at Joshimath a little late and the ropeway was closed. And there was no other way of transportation to reach the staff. We called up the resort manager to guide us to reach there. But to my surprise he did not take any interest to pick us up. MMT should not promote cliff top as they have no facility to pick the guest up. It was a very terrible experience and I would discourage my friends to stay at the resort.

Maintenance of the room and the property is very poor

The view from this hotel is unbeatable. The view from the window of your room is the alps. Simply mesmerizing. You will not be disappointed by the sizes of the room either. Simply spacious. The hotel staff especially the room service staff are extremely helpful Negatives half the hotel is under construction which has been stalled for quite a few years, the other half is not maintained at all, the variety of food available is limited.

The view from hotel is amazing. But the staff was very uncooperative and rude. Due to monopoly in that area they don't pay any attention to clients needs. Pathetic management. Need hell lot of improvement. With the price they charge the service didn't manage those standards.

Had a very comfortable stay at this Resort. Their family suite was spacious with good infrastructure. Their staff was courteous and helpful. The food from in-house restaurant was pretty decent. Only hiccup was the frequent power cuts and Long waits for the generator backup through the days and nights. If you enjoy chilly weather and like to experience skiing or have fun in the snow, this is a wonderful option. You may also get lucky to witness snowfall as we did.

The only good part about the hotel was their staff was very courteous the owner and the management of the hotel keeps you in dark until you arrive at the hotel. There is no electricity in the hotel they keep running the electricity for 12 hours i.e. 11 am to 11 pm on fuel, they say that their electric pole has fallen somewhere the main person who looks after this work is not in Town but through locals we found out that this is their excuse every now and then the real reason is the electricity is cut due non payment of their dues. Half of the hotel is seized due to illegal construction but they say it's under renovation but no work is under progress for renovation. Their staff are not being paid for months and as they are not educated they don't know what to do as they can't leave the hotel premises with guest residing and their salaries are pending as most of them have ran away, the hotel is running with less staff not able to keep up with the guest hospitality, they are even paid poorly for the kind of hard work they put in at these remote and though conditions and we are being charged so highly for the same property, there is full blackout after 11 pm in the hotel no heaters you are left to sleep in the dark cold weather without electricity to even go to the bathroom, they serve you cold breakfast because the electricity does not come before 11 am and they don't have an option. I booked my stay for 3 nights. Without any meal plan. The only way to reach the hotel is by rope way which stops working after 4:20 pm, the nearest Station is Rishikesh which is approx. 10 hours from hotel and nearest airport is jolly grant airport which approx. Takes about the same time, how we suppose to reach the property so early but no information is given by the hotel for it, thus my one night of the hotel which I paid for got wasted as I had to stay in Joshimath at another hotel. So that means I paid for a hotel with no electricity and no facilities. I strongly recommend MakeMyTrip to remove such hotels from their list of bookings and take strong action against the hotels who fool their guest and misuse their hard earned money.

Room facing Nandadevi peak all the time. It is on the highest point of the Auli and near artificial lake and skiing point. Hotel staff is very cooperative.
Room is enough for a couple. Cleanliness is good.

Location is good. Facilities are OK. But room rent is high considering facilities at hotel.

It's a very badly managed place, rooms were u kept, totally unprofessional, manager had no courtesy to attend the guest, mr kishore kumar, i was committed by mr goswami that i would be refunded my one day cancellation which he denied over call by mmt-arunima 22500 rather charged us for the break fast the day we checked in. Heaters and geysers were not working we stayed in 6 degree in that state.

Cut short the stay to one day.

Auli as a place is great. Hotel's location is superb. But reaching this place is not easy, specially if you have luggage. Also if it is snow, it's a big challenge as you have to walk through it. Also place was not maintained well.

Had a great time at the Clifftop Club! Will certainly visit the place again...
