The Tusker Den, An Eco-Tourism & Village resort in Murti, South Indong Forest prides itself as one of the most luxurious resorts in the entire Dooars area.The Tusker Den stands with majestic greenery in an area of 5 Acers. Nearby famous attractions like Garumara National Park and Dooar's largest elephant training centre, Gachbari, this property is a unique place to plunge into a scenic green lush South Indong forest and activities camping and trekking.River Murti is just one km from the resort.

Each room is well lit, ventilated, and furnished with all the essential amenities. This property has two variety of rooms as Super Deluxe Double and Deluxe Double.All the rooms are well-decorated and are furnished with an LED TV, an attached washroom, double beds with luxurious chairs and tables in each room.

The property is 2-storeyed, and the ground floor has a large lobby, restaurant, and a kitchen. This property has modern amenities such as a water heater, TV, garden, and play area for kids.The property also has free parking and other services like laundry, telephone, etc.

It was such an amazing resort to stay in.

Rooms are too clean. Location a bit far from the main road but it's near to the forest and Murti. That's a good plus. The staff are very friendly and they served us really good. Hope to stay there again. Also I'd suggest to visit there

Rooms are strictly ok though spacious, with work being still in progress. No AC, electricity patchy, apparently no generator at night (though they put it up on request) limited restaurant options, no activities in the resort. Room cleaning leaves much to be desired.

True Village resort -Far from Murti river bank

This resort is about 5 km far from Murti and this place is called Mangalbari; I think the main attraction in Murti is riverbank where most reputed resorts are located. This resort is in isolated place by 5 km; wont find public transport ; toto drop is Rs 150/- to murti. The main attraction is during paddy farming season when wild elephants can be seen in these area between Oct to Jan. Otherwise resort is well maintained, big and clean rooms, food quality is good at reasonable price, staff cooperative. Good choice if you have your own transport and only during crop season to see wild elephants.

The food was amazing with very clean washrooms and linen. The room was breezy and neat. Also the hotel compound is well planted with trees and veggie farms - serving us farm fresh cherry tomatoes as salad was a nice touch. The staff service is wonderful and polite.
