A Truly Amazing Experience! I recently stayed at this resort and had an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality that made me feel instantly at ease. The peaceful atmosphere of the resort was exactly what I needed to unwind and recharge. The food was absolutely delicious – every meal was a treat! The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and their attention to detail really stood out. Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway or a relaxing holiday, this resort is a perfect choice. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the superior rooms which was adjacent to several others. We had a nature facing porch where we experienced a beautiful morning and evening. We were travelling with our pet dog. The resort doesn’t provide any pet amenities or food, we carried our own thankfully. The only downside was the walls were very thin and not soundproof. We were disturbed by the loud noise till late night

it was a pleasant stay.the staff was very cooperative.The view from the property is beyond imagination

I found the stay through youtube videos. It was a wonderful stay with vast expanse of property. There was a soothing calm flowing brook nearby, hills surrounding the property, mango trees in the property. The swimming pool looked really clean. However, owing to winter season, we did not take a dip. I had travel-led with my family including my infant baby. The food portion was quite big and was decent in taste. There was open air movie being played at night. All in all, a beautiful stay at an economical price.

1. Management was not at all cooperative. Even at the emergency checkout they did not shown any cooperation about balance unused stay. 2. Also there was no activities organised as were shown in pictures. Food was very limited and there is no vendor nereby at the location for daily needs. 3. Even we were charged for breakfast after booking the room with breakfast. Never recommend the stay to anyone.

No lights no ac no wifi no mobile network we left in 1 hour so bad

Words can’t describe how wonderful and pleasant my stay was with sylvan retreat. The hospitality i received from the time of check-in until checkout was at par. My room faced an electrical issue where in my room light went off, they were kind enough to offer me an upgrade to their pinewood cottage however it was too large for me hence i decided to opt for a superior room. The room was beautiful with all amenities as originally booked room. Overall it was a great experience, will definitely come back to room.

The location is 25 kms from main city of dehradun. The roads are not good and the road just close to the property is very steep for small cars to drive. Now coming to the property, if you are looking for a stay amid-st nature and serene beauty, then this place is highly recommended. The scenic picturesque of the resort and the nearby surroundings are just mind blowing. The food is top notch though complimentary breakfast options are limited. The staff are very cordial and supportive. They are always available 24x7. There are a lot of open spaces for outdoor activities. Sufficient car parking available and pets are also allowed. Many interesting activites are arranged by the management and it's worth appreciating. Overall a pleasant experience and a must try for a change.

Nice stay. Reasonably good property. Away from the hulaballoo of the city. The chef mr. Singh at the resort was excellent. The staff also was very cooperative. Overall a good place to spend quality time with your family. You would enjoy the property if you have a laid back schedule and love to undertake long walks in the mountains!

Property is big and well maintained, although they are still adding a lot but the place is amazing and you just feel in lap of nature with river, small hill climb, trees, a bunch of colorful birds always around. Also the staff was always there whenever we asked for anything. Special kudos to the chef for great meals and mouthwatering tastes in all dishes. Only issue we found was with the suite room where we could hear sound from the suite next to our room. Otherwise 5 star to everything else property, location, staff and food.

Loved the place, food, it's really close to nature and if you want peace then it's the best place to stay.

We stayed for one night and our overall experience is good. Rooms and all property is well maintained, food quality is average, service and staff was very good. We booked this pet friendly resort through make my trip, however after check in we were charged additional rs 1000 as pet charges. I found this very strange since it was not mentioned on mmt. Overall experience was good including dining experience near river.

It was an amazing experience; it was raining continuously the staff made my stay very comfortable. The hot tea and pakoras were the icing on the cake. The journey from highway to the resort was a treat for the eyes. The resort has rivers on both sides, amazing landscapes, spacious rooms, and hospitable staff, makes the stay as memorable one.

Location is excellent. Property is inside the forest area with river access. We can enjoy the nature.
