The Sal Woods Forest and Spa 22km from Mussoorie

Very cheap place the rate are very high and expensive there is no facility for tv, wifi, the road to resort is very scary and not safe at all you can not drive after 6pm once it start dark the lot of monkey are there and electricity fluctuation is very high it took staff to have 10 to 15 min to start gen set totally horrible night for me some how escaped my friend proposed me but i regret deeply the rate of 13000 is not even worth for 3000 the management and ownership only making money by looting people

Sal Woods resort is located in the remote foothills around Dehradun. The resort comprises of small cottages scattered around the property. The cottages have a tree house feel. They are cozy with wooden interiors and small bathrooms. This place is good for people looking for a peaceful getaway close to nature. The prices are high according to the services provided. The restaurant is not recommended.

The hotel is very well located And it's made really well. The resort justifies its name of being a Woods resort, extremely green with a lot of open spaces And seating. The rooms however are very small And food very expensive. If you want to stay away From The hustle bustle of Dehradun And yet not go to Mussoorie this is The perfect place. I visited the place for the first time, over all nice but the pool water was very dirty and unhygienic, no lighting area near the pool side food menu is very very limited and expensive and did not really like the food, room service is not not available and no intercom facility available, we had to keep calling the the reception which was very hectic other then try the sport and adventure activity.

Though The hotel is charming , The services were very poor. I stayed two nights in this hotel, my room was never cleaned in between water not refilled. Construction works started on sunday morning 6:00 Am. Swimming-pool is not maintained. Overall a lack of hygiene And service in this hotel.

Its a beautiful location, nice cottages, courteous staff and away from the madding crowd of both Dehradun and Mussoorie. The menu options could have been more though food was good.

My staying experience in Sal Wood is very bad, room service very poor no buffet breakfast.

The place was at really remote area. It was during monsoon season and rain was dripping through the wood inside the room. And no landline and there wasn’t few of other facilities also. But beside that, food was great and the service was good. It was a one time experience. may be it’s different during may-June season. But for me, thank you Never going back.

Room was very small. Prices were little hipped as per room and amenities mentioned on app for particular room were not available though natural beauty was worth staying. Very peaceful and calm. Staff was curteous too.
