The Heimat Resort | River-view Tents

Location: 10/10 (specially if you are choosing a river facing tent/ cottage) Food: 9/10 (Almost all the food items across meals were good in taste) Hospitality & Staff: 10/10 (Staff is very warm and makes it a point to make guests feel at home) Service: 5/10 (This is only because of the morning start timings; restaurant is not open before 8am and if you are a early riser, you would face difficulty in getting early breakfast. Though tea is prepared by a person by around 7.45am)

Look no more in barot! this is the best stay you could get with a view and affordable rate! everything was just perfect right from the view to the service to the food! everything goes for a 5 star! absolutely magical location right next to the uh l river and the reservoir is just across the river as well! good food, clean property, hassle-free checkin/checkout, great wifi what more do you want! i went solo but i would recommend the cottage stays for couples as it was mesmerizing and would definitely visit again as a couple/group! p. S. I had booked the break time barot but cancel-led it at the last min and i couldn't be more happy!

Excellent location by the river uh l specially if you're a nature lover and are looking for a quiet relaxed time. Ashish the manager was extremely helpful - arranged for fresh towels and fresh sheets, an oil heater because we were cold. We stayed in a wooden cottage on the upper level which has a wonderful view of the river, river bed, the mountains. It was blissful and idyllic. The property is full of marigolds and other flowers and in the evening there's a bonfire to sit around. Food is available on order and is quite delicious. We asked for toilet paper, fresh towels and sheets and these were all provided. The internet was not working on the first day, but in the second the server was giving service. There is a small quaint market 1k away if you've forgotten any basic necessities. And if you're fond of animals there's a family of three black dogs around who are happy to play with you. All in all it was a very memorable experience.

Had booked a cottage hoping that it's on the river bank but alas it was on the last row of the resort. The resort no doubt has the best location in barot but the overall service and warmth was missing. Food was okay. No doubt we had a great family time on the rocks just below the resort. At this date, the resort was heavily booked and it was quite crowded. The breakfast served was not upto the mark. Wish the owner puts in some more efforts to take the benefit of the location of the resort.

The tents are good but the food is very bad and their service is too slow cost of tents is very high compared to other's

the place is excellent. reception was good. were made comfortable and offered hot cup of tea by the host. he assisted us in going for angling with govt approved permit. the trout in the evening was amazing alongwith the bonfire 🔥.

The heimat resort is a nice and peaceful place to stay on the side of ulh river.

Stay was good but stay in tent house is not safe with family

The camp is on the river side. It's is scenic, and beautiful. They serve nice food. Remember to try out the trout fish. In the evenings from 7pm to 9pm they have a borne fire and play music. I would totally recommend this stay.

We reached there a bit late On reaching there The staff was not at all cooperative regarding facilities They didn't even have us water bottles for drinking water They simply gave us tap water which was also dirty Breakfast was not on time There was not even proper supply of water

The location of The property was very good and we easily reached there. The kind of service they provided was very good. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Food was hygienic. The caretaker was well mannered and helpful. I must recommend this property to others.

The Valley view from The room was excellent. The rooms were fine. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner and The food was good. Overall it was a good stay.
