We booked a room at Golden Plaza Hotel, Chandigarh, for 3 guests and paid extra (50% of the room rate) for the third person. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations: • The bathroom was flooded due to a clogged sink and leaking pipes. • The third guest was given a mattress on the floor instead of a proper bed. • Toiletries, towels, and tea/coffee supplies were only provided for 1–2 people, even though we had booked for 3. • We had to make 9–10 calls just to request basic items like extra towels, toiletries, bedding, and water — with each department passing the responsibility to the other. • Morning tea supplies included just 2 tea bags and milk pouches for 3 people — no stirrers or extra cups. For a hotel marketed as 4.5 stars, this was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing stay. I hope the hotel improves coordination and service quality — because right now, it’s not worth the rating or price.
