SHREEBAG HOMESTAY DIVEAGAR

Pricing is quite unreasonably high compared to the room conditions as poor lighting and toilet bathroom cleanliness. Property doesn't have inhouse kitchen for meals. Price includes free breakfast but they only have Konkani Ghavan and Tea for the breakfast. No reception, no caretaker to welcome you. Their family member just passed us the key and showed us the room from the ground. Property feels a little isolated from the main beach and road from property to main chowk have no lights at all so be very careful if you leaving for the beach in the evening. Even in the property there is no sufficient lighting outside the gate. As there is no inhouse kitchen they told us to visit nearby hotels for dinner but the time we cameback main door was closed and in such dark road you have to get down from the car to open the door. Property is not at all good for small family.

Nice and cozy place. Siddhesh is a very warm host and ensures all your needs are fulfilled. Only thing we could imagine as an area of improvement was an additional amount of lighting in the premises. It was otherwise alright.

Shreebag will welcome you to a quaint quite town of diveagar. It's surrounded with coconut trees and bettle nut trees and undulating roads. Its near the beach with the most humble, gentleman host. He welcomed us with a warm breakfast of dos-as and coconut chatni. The chatni was the best i ever had. The wooms are big with clean bathroom and a big balcony overlooking a garden. The host is thorough with the directions and nearby places and will help you navigate with ease. There is amble parking space inside the campus. There are many eating joints around the homestay. However, they mainly come alive in the evening.

Overall shreebag experience was memorable. Always felt like home and the owner has very good sense in knowing customers need. In addition owners aai gave us loads of khau and memories that we will cherish lifetime. In short overall stay felt like we are at home under blessings of our aai, baba

Location is fine, away from daily hustle bustle, beach is at a short walk, home cooked food served with high sense of hospitality, Siddhesh is a nice chap, always taking care of guests. It's really a home away from home.
