A total disappointment

familyI booked for 2 people for 2 nights 3 days to spend some leisure time in the company of nature away from the busy city life. My expectations were pretty high but on reaching there i was informed that they do not provide any food unless there are more than 15 people while we were only 2. They have no in house kitchen or chef to cater to the needs of the customers which came as a big surprise for us. They asked us to go to a nearby hotel which is located some 20 minutes away every-time we want food. It was not possible for us to do so as we were travel-ling by a hired car. After a while they offered to bring us food from a nearby hotel with an additional 25% charges but i rejected the offer and left the farm house within 15 minutes. We were heart broken. When we were on our way home, i received a call from a lady on behalf of the management offering to compensate but not in form of money but they offered us a stay in one of their other properties - a hotel in dahanu in the same cost. I was initially uncertain but later after a thought i accepted their offer as otherwise all my money would have been wasted. I genuinely appreciate their generosity and the stay at other hotel was also not bad but my only concern here is i wanted to experience a stay in a farmhouse and not in some hotel. So that's why i would call this entire experience as 'total disappointment. Every hotel or a farm house offers food which is a basic amenity and i had to compromise my trip for this was really disappointing. No hard feelings for anyone but my little staycation in a farm house did not turn out the way i expected.
