Location is amazing. Rooms are large and cozy. Bathrooms are ok ok. Sampath annan is a very nice guy, he stays in the cottage in a different room though. Home made breakfast is good as well. Overall worth it!

Good place with full of scenery. The real beuty of munnar can see from here with view of tea estate, madupetty lake, jungle etc. Calm and peace surrounding, 13 km away from city. Staff behavior also good. Food is not available. If you want food pre book. Can cook in pvt kitchen.

The property is located in very scenic place. But it was difficult to find it since the name board of the cottage we can find only the mattupetty road and in front of the cottage. We stuck-ed a junction middle of the way.

Mattupetty lake view cottage is located above the mattupetty lake, it's give a amazing view, that i not experienced anywhere. Its interior facilities is in very good standard. Care taker stay in cottage, giving very good service. Value worthy stay. I recamond for family. Pleasnt and calm stay.

Just out of this world, both literally and metaphorically, such a serene peaceful beautiful location, surrounded by tea plantations and overlooking mattupetty lake, an awesome view and experience, secluded place, full of nature and minimal human interference, just venture into those plantations or just sit there in front of this peaceful cottage, its heavenly feeling, cottage itself is british era type old building, full marks for cleanliness, didn't come across such clean stay during entire kerala tour, sparkling white bed sheets and towels and lovely home cooked meals by caretakers babu and amma, they deserve all the appreciation and credit for such upkeep of cottage and really take great care of guests, what people go to see in Munnar for few hours, you will experience here staying.

I booked Madupatty Lakeview Cottage for my family stay. Though the property was old it was very beautifully maintained. The location was convenient. During those days, I felt excellent hospitality and maintenance. Staffs were so humble and very good in service. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Food was awesome and the tariff was reasonable. We felt very comfortable and secure at the property. Highly recommend the property to others.
