Our stay at Golf View Retreat was quite disappointing. The room was unclean, with leftover cigarette butts, pan masala packets, and spider webs. The TV and kettle didn’t work, there was no fridge, and the room had a foul smell due to dampness from the ceiling, as the small 3-ft swimming pool was right above us. Room service was very slow—waiting over 30 minutes and reminding twice just for a water bottle. The food was below average, and the coffee was poor. The only good part was the scenic mountain surroundings, but unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the overall poor experience.
