Ratnasagar Beach Resort

Room is short beach side is open no security night lamp is wants more for outside lights
Welcoming aapreasal is missing no contact to customer when it let for chekin period check out not mentioned and light gets off for check out

Mr lalit was kind enough to upgrade my room to a premium beach view villa.

Swimming pool was closed due to covid issues, rooms are ok. Food is good but not much of konkani variety. Decent average hotel

The view and location of the Resort is the best but it not not maintained well. Poor maintenance of rooms and hotel interiors as well as the swimming pool

My favourite city Ratnagiri. Calm and quiet city with awesome sea beach. Ratna Sagar Resort is nice place to stay at Bhatye beach. Good cleanliness. Polite staff. Don't miss breakfast. Experience morning and evening walk at beach sand and last but not the least. Heard owner is Punekar.

Location of the hotel is very good, good staff, but food quality is absolutely poor, no wifi connectivity for rooms, rooms not maintained. Price is much higher compared with nearby hotel, since the food quality is poor for all meals need to hit City centre or Mandvi.

Great resort steps away from a pristine, clean (compared to most other Indian beaches), long/wide flat beach that is seldom crowded. The resort itself is very green and the cabins are decent sized and generally very well maintained. We did run into some issues with the telephone line and television but outside of them there were no complaints. The service staff are receptive and resourceful. The restaurant had many more hits than mediocre. The Indo-Chinese food was generally to die for. The fresh juices were stellar. Some of the fish and chicken dishes were great as well. Breakfast spread is adequate. The restaurant is set outdoors right next to the pool enabling you to enjoy the meal while swaying to the ocean breeze. The pool is great and will be a hit with kids. Cons - if you aren't planning to cut the cord completely and relax, the unavailability of wifi in the rooms could be a drawback. The reception and restaurant areas do have wifi. Overall, this is a great resort for total relaxation. The flawless January sunsets are a huge plus as well.

Good food, cosy place, clean Beach, friendly staff.

I traveled with my family. This resort is exactly at the beach. You can view the beach from your cottage. All cottages are sea-facing. Food was excellent though service is bit slow. It is bit away from the main city hence you will not get Autorickshaw or taxis for commute, however, hotel staff arranges their known auto and taxi services. There is no online transport app service in Ratnagiri hence you will have to depend on hotel staff for taxi services. But overall it was an amazing experience of stay in Ratnasagar resort.

The cottages are great no issues there. The staff is 10 stars very sweet and helpful. The food not good at all in the breakfast. I'm sorry but whoever the chef is he or she are doing a terrible job. I mean you can't get an egg omelette that wrong. Very expensive tariff for what it offers. Also because the beach that it has is a very very commercial residential beach of the locals from Ratnagiri. Overall very expensive for the services it offers. There are so many places around that offer much more for lesser price. We discovered as we were on a road trip.

It's a quaint little resort tucked away on a small beach. Since it's very close to the high tide line, they have built all small wooden cabins. Well spaced and well maintained. The beach is a mixed bag. Sometimes the tide comes in and the beach disappears. Overall it's a great place for a 2 night weekend.
