coupleWe have booked a quebec house boat for 1 night stay during our visit of srinagar on may 9, location of house boat is well situated in golden lake, an area in dal lake but concern is that they provide us room in their secondary house boat behind main houseboat and sikara charged us for drop to ghat on check out.

Do not stay for not more than one night. It’s much better to take a hotel near dal lake that would me much better option than choosing houseboats.

it was cold.. frequent power cut. no complimentary drinking water.

Food was average, it was real cold and there was frequent power. No complimentary drinking water. Room and bathroom were clean. Hot water was mot hot enough. Location was average. Considering the price I would rate 5/10.
