Visited this hotel in December 2017 along with my spouse. Very pleasant stay. Food was delicious along with their service. Liked the place very much. Newly built !! Location is very reachable. Google map should help out to reach the location without much difficulty but search for Mathru Chaya. Thanks,

The location is fantastic. New rooms are spacious. The food matches home food. The dinner is 3 course dinner. It is better to book the room along with breakfast and dinner. There is a parking space for cars.

Every one in the Hotel offer service with a smile. We stayed 2 days in the Hotel. The view of River Bhagirathi was simply excellent. The sound of its constant flow was monotoning. Overall a good hotel to stay at. It is couple of Kilometers away from the city on the way to Gangotri.

Location of the hotel was the main reason for me booking the hotel and it was a correct decision. Location was good and approachable with transportation. Atmosphere was refreshing. Room was okay. Service was average. The feeling of staying in a great hotel was lacking but overall there were no issues with the stay.
