Shivganga Cafe

Location of the property is great, right on the beach with a beautiful view. The Staff is very helpful and hospitable, going out of their way to make the guests comfortable. The Food & Dining is delicious, with a variety of options available. However, some guests found the prices to be on the higher side. Cleanliness of the property needs improvement, with some guests finding the rooms and bathrooms not up to the mark. Overall, a good property for a relaxing beach vacation with great location, food, and staff.

  The property's location is the most highlighted aspect by the guests. It is situated right on the beach, providing a serene and peaceful environment. Guests loved the private beach sort of feel and the beautiful beach just in front of the room. The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday and a great place to hang out. However, some guests found the accessibility to the property a bit difficult as it was through fields with no lights and small checkposts. Also, the pathway towards the room was filled with sand, making it difficult to drag luggage.

• Staff

  The staff at the property were extremely helpful and polite. Guests appreciated their hospitality and resourcefulness. They went out of their way to serve everyone from morning till night. Guests found them to be kind, sweet, and attentive. One staff member was particularly highlighted for his English language skills and understanding of Hindi. However, some guests found one English old lady staff member to be rude.

• Food & Dining

  The food and dining options at the property were appreciated by guests. The cafe served delicious food, especially the fish starters, biryani, and pepper chicken. Guests found the value for money of the food to be good. However, some guests found the food to be expensive, and some suggested adding South Indian food to the menu.

• Cleanliness

  Some guests found the cleanliness of the property to be lacking. They suggested that the huts required cleaning and the bedsheets stank. One guest found a centipede in their bed, and ants and other insects were swarming the bed and room. However, some guests did not mention any issues with cleanliness.
