Padma Guest House Homestay | Rooms & Kitchen

It's a decent homestay with a room provided in a house. The room was clean but no cleaning service provided. The beds are of average or low quality, no tv connection, but the host was very accommodating. The main issue was that hot water was available only at 6 am so an evening hot bath was not possible. The bathroom toilet was extremely basic. But you probably get what you pay for. Location was the main advantage as it is within 5 min walk from the main attraction. Would recommend only if your requirement is just not much.

I stayed in an ac double room at the first floor. The room was very clean, spacious and had 2 side tables which were very useful as you can keep your extra stuff there. You get the view of virupaksha temple from its window and listen to peaceful carnatic music early morning. Sagar is a helpful and cheerful host, was my go-to person for asking any query throughout the journey. He and his whole family is very friendly to all the guests. Location is apt, close to almost all tourist places and hampi bus stop. It's completely worth staying in pad-ma if you are coming to hampi. (bonus tip: marathi movie hampi shooting was done here itself)

Actual rooms are not matching with photos. No wifi signal available. Bathroom conditions are poor.

Cleanliness of padma guest house

Property is very near to virupaksha temple and hemkut hills

Worst experience due to the behaviour of the caretaker and owner. Room and bathroom hygiene was bad. No facilities available. Did not get hot water for bath in time. Rude behaviour of the caretaker sagar n his mother. No proper facilities available in rooms. Electric connection are loose, no proper blankets provided. Worst hotel/homestay experience so far.

Stay was good, host was nice, only problem in the room is it was last room and there was no proper air that could pass through, also mattress was little hard, felt uneasy to sleep

They have provided the lodge in different place so far form origin

We got a call from the owner one day prior our stay, after the free cancellation period was over. We were moved to a homestay whose location couldn't be tracked. Being a group of 5 girls, it was scary as we arrived at night. The location was 4 km away from our actual booking site. The rooms weren't clean. Amenities were not provided. Drinking water was local tap water that caused stomach upset. Not worth the money.

This place was listed as stay in hampi. First we were asked to stay in hosapate. Room was very bad and then we were asked to moved to new hampi. Lots and lots of time waste. Please suggest only if u have actual place and do not receive us later

We were shifted to some bad and very far location from hampi. In that location things were too far and no wifi, no cleanness, things were messy very bad experience using mmt. We were shifted to roshni singh house. Which was very far from our location. Very bad experience in mmt

Owner of the guest house is arrogant and does not have any knowledge. We have booked the room for 3 person he was saying that he have received the request for only 2 people and was saying that payment for room is pending from our side and tried to do some fraudulent activities. As well as there was no wifi provided by him but in the description it was included. And for hot water for bath he was charging 20 rupees per bucket. And there was a lack of communication between the staff and the owner(sagar, no drinking water was provided by them all the time we need to ask them for everything. Photos which were shown was different and reality was different. There was no clean bedsheets. Overall horrible experience. As well as the loction was something else and we have stayed somewhere else.

My experience was very worst but my outing in hampi is excellent

My booked rooms were already asked some other guests. And got tiny rooms in other near by guests house. No wifi.

Exceptional view of birupaksha temple

We can see hemkutta hills n virupaksh mandir so nearly from the terrace of the guest house. Host was behaving very politely. We had taken only black tea, taste was good. You must try this guest house

Location wise guest house is very convenient, temple can be viewed from terrace/balcony, at the 1st day we offered different room which was small in size though we booked 15days before and thats was disappointed but next day we moved to actual room that we booked and room size is pretty large, bathroom was clean.

Lot of inconvenience caused due to mmt’s mismanagement with regards to local hotels. Although we made full payment we got bad rooms at 11th hour coz hotel guys took no responsibility for mm-ts miscommunication. We accepted coz didn’t want to ruin our trip but we understand that we deserve refund for this. Giving one star coz we have no option to give starts below this.
