The room and bathroom were clean, and the Wi-Fi connection was good. Hot water was also available. The owner was friendly and cooperative. The only issue was that the basin was slightly small and not aligned with the mirror, which caused water to spill onto the floor.

Property is located just beside the Great Virupaksha Temple. One can see the entire temple from the property terrace. Very nice environment and friendly care taker, it feels like you have visited your own place. Food is available just to the mext house terrace called Ganesh Restaurant, food is purely home made. Mayuram is must if you want to stay in core Hampi area as every attraction is just on a walking distance. Hemkutha Hill is also 2 minutes away. Overall i had a very nice experience in this property and surely of i visit again i will book here.

2, it was not Mataram home stay, it was some small room given to us, where warm water was not available, when asked, owner replied " who uses warm water in summer", no cleaning too.

mayuram homestay in hampi has its pros and cons. the location is fantastic—just a short walking distance from virupaksha temple, which is super convenient. the rooms were neat and clean, with hot water and blankets provided, making the stay comfortable. we also appreciated being allowed to check in an hour earlier than the usual time of 9:30 am. however, the experience was disrupted in the morning when there was no water, and the owner, mr ravi, was unreachable as his phone was switched off. we had to get help from a neighboring restaurant owner, who kindly turned on the motor switch for us. while the homestay’s location and cleanliness are definite positives, improved management and responsiveness are crucial for a smoother guest experience.

One of best home start near virupaksha temple. Temple and river is very near by. Lot of options for food near by. No vehicles as allowed beyond a certain point at this temple premises. So better to have hired auto which will drop this home stay.

It is very near to veerupaksha temple. Mayuram rooms also very good and neat maitainance by ravi garu. Best homestay in hampi is mayuram home stay.

First of all, don't expect any star hotel setup. As per the room rent, they provide a cleaned room and bathroom. In hampi we will not get any star hotel/resort. We will have to go heritage area and it will be 5 to 6 kms away from hampi. Plus 1. Budget friendly homestay near virupaksha temple ( walkable distance) 2. Friendly owner and he gave more suggestions and advice for how to explore hampi. 3. Budget friendly laundry services. 4. We will get yummy and too tasty vegetarian food from ganesha guest house along with this home stay. There were a delay for getting food because they are making food after getting the order. Minus ( dont think it as negative comments but sharing some information) 1. They are not provide bath towels, soaps and dental kits. 2. Drinking water will get outside the room. 3. No tv and ac 4. There is no cupboard inside the room.

The room was stuffy. No sunlight. No air flow whatsoever. Drinking water was filtered but didn't taste that good. But. Ravi, the proprietor, will do everything he can to arrange trips for you. Budget and guided tours. He guides you with a fantastic and mythic itinerary and does his best. The stay was average. But hospitality was friendly. There is running hot water too.

The property was good, clean and very good for 2 members for a short period of stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. If you need any kind of auto or the itinerary plan he will definitely sit with you clear all doubts and plan it. He is also having contacts for arranging the transport. Our return ticket was at 11 pm night, he only arranged the auto. The rooms are value for money 24x7 hot water, very accessible to prime sites. Overall it is a very pleasant stay without any hindrances.

The homestay's location is just next to the virapaksha temple making it very easy to find and also many restaurants are available around including mango tree and chill out cafe which to me is the best cafe in the area
