Mahal Khas Palace

First of all facilities not true Terrible staff and the worst hotel i've visited till now. If I will visit a one star hotel, that would also be better than this

Fabulous old palace building stay here. But do take jumper's if going in winter.
Huge rooms with lots of character in an amazing palace. And friendly staff and good food.

Absolutely Pathetic. Hotel was closed, no one was there to attend. It was mere an old khandahr( haweli) which was scary, there was no lights. No human was there except a dog. Finally I hd to rush to another hotel.

Awesom rooms nice and very clean. Good staff service and awesom breakfast too you fell a royal touch in a royal hotel. It almost 300 years old and you feel the ancient art on the doors and walls. This is a awesome trip to mee.

Location is fine. Rooms need upgrade for that amount of money. Overall stay was good and I will visit there again. Food was good. Rooms were clean few things were not working in the room. Overall stay was fine.

This place is at center of the loahgarh fort which is in middle of the city. Some attractive near to this place but those are mainly forts and temples. If you are in Bharatpur to visit bird park then opt for a place that is near to it. The heritage property definitely need repairs. The staff and their hospitality was good.

Not many good eating places around. Food at Mahal Khas is expensive, though good. They could reduce the prices.

Stayed overnight in a real castle? You can! A great location, from the outside still a little crumbled, from the inside a gem with all facilities, very clean and spacious. The food was excellent, the breakfast buffet big and tasty. Definitely worth a stay!

People are very hospitable, courteous service. One feel very relaxed. There is no credit card service. We strongly recommend stay if one wants to enjoy the splendor of old palace. Little difficult to reach the place as this is inside the town and quite a distance from the bird sanctuary.

This was our worst ever hotel stay. The hotel did not have anything that one expects. Even a Dharam shala would have been better. The room did not have a kettle, bathroom door could not be bolted, not even a stool in bathroom. So called bonfire was a disaster and the staff just disappeared after a while without bothering for the comfort of guests. The food was always cold and nobody to listen to. All in all a most horrible experience.

Lovely place and very efficient staff. They care for the guest so much that we feel like the king there. Lovely food and courteous staff. Though the approach road inside Bharatpur is not so great and the maintenance from outside is old dilapidated and disheartening.

Too bad location. Only 4-5 rooms in the hotel. You feel so lost and isolated. Housekeeping people look like guys quickly gathered from nearby dhabhas. There is kind of no reception area. Not worth at all. Unfortunately it was huge disappointment.

Part of Loha garh fort sold by Maharaja to local businessman and now it's heritage hotel with feel good for historical site visitor. It's good for a night stay then move on to deeg to cherish the heritage. Deeg and lohagarh forts is mainly concerned with the history of undefeated jat army and Jats who defeated Delhi Mughal fort and brought an entire mahal of one queen which stand tall. Ask for the history behind the all structure wherever you go, it will reveal greater picture of historical events.

Located just 2 kms from National Park, the hotel is completely worn out, but rooms are big and spacious. Staff is prompt, but service is too slow. F&B is overpriced and hotel doors shut by 2200 hrs. Needs refurbishment and renovation to match price that they ask for!

They have limited 2-3 rooms that are worth staying. And approx price of each room is not more than 3 to 3. 5 thousand. Nothing to do in resort but if maintained and upgraded, it would be a gem. It has hardly any space to enjoy but there are nearby places where you can spend some time.
