The staff was incredibly kind and nice. They even upgraded my room without asking. The food was delicious. Rooms were clean. I cannot recommend this place enough

Location wise perfect. It was an outskirts. Perfectly suits for the people who need privacy. Also there are few more cottages are near to that. This is the best. One concern is the route we are traveling to reach is little off-road about 100 mtrs we need to travel in the Cliff with one way road. That is the only cons.

We had a wonderful stay with a calm and beautiful atmosphere. The ambience was peaceful, and the food was excellent, especially the English breakfast and Italian dishes. The room was spacious, neat, and comfortable. The property is conveniently located near the sea, with a private beach that offers great privacy. The caretakers were passionate and dedicated, always reachable and ready to assist. A special mention to Aslam, Shijin (the receptionist), and the restaurant staff for making the experience even more memorable.

Good place for needed break.

familyVery serene location, staff and owners are very helpful, since its located at the end of cliff, place looks bit isolated, commuting to main cliff and varkala town is bit tedious. We need to ask the resort manager to book for auto or cab, scooty is available but they charge 500rs / 24hrs, felt costly. Food is good, some are suitable for europeans.

Stay at maadathil cottages was excellent. We enjoyed it a lot. They had a variety of food options in restaurant. It has sea facing view. The vibe was fabulous. We stayed there for 2 days and it was perfect. I will really recommend staying there when you are going to varkala. North cliff is very near to this cottage in edava. The rooms were clean.

Pleasant and good stay

I found this through makemytrip site. We a family of 3 book the cottage for a one day stay and it was a pleasant experience. Property was very neat and clean, friendly staff and they have their own restaurant and the food was also good. The view to the sea was amazing and would recommend for a family stay on your holidays.

Everything was pleasant and highly comfortable. They contacted us one day before our check-in, thus making sure we comfortably find our way to the hotel. The check in as well as the entire stay was highly comfortable and the staff is extremely hospitable. The food is also very good. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and Lunch and dinner was fantabulous taste at their restaurant, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.. Specially Manager Aslam and Abhijeet were especially supportive and taken care 😘🥰🥰😍😍 Kids love to stay there 😘😘😘

Excellent room, actually cottage ... Neat and clean .. Food is also nice. They have hammock, sunchairs and wonderful landscape. Best part is beach on the foots cottage. Its an overwhelming experience while having a stay here because soothing sound of waves and serenity really makes it special.
