Larica Inn Kolaghat

Location is awesome, just beside the Rupnarayan river with a great view from the room. Facilities are also quite good. However food quality is not so great.

Excellent & cosy stay in this property, room no. 519, a river view room. Food quality & quantity are decent, the price is as usual a little higher, breakfast is also good enough and overall, it feels good. Only one concerns need to be taken care of is not allowing guests to smoke in the room or bathroom, which causes an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. Guests are smoking on the balcony ONLY, not in the bedroom or bathroom. If you love to enjoy a peaceful & quiet location with riverside greenery lawn with your loved ones, having a good clean water swimming pool with zakuji, then this property is the best one.

The property is located at a less than 2 hours drive from Kolkata. The pool is big and the water was clean. The food was excellent. We stayed for two nights and every time we had good food. The staff behaviour and service was excellent too. The management needs to keep an eye on the minor details like keeping the pool bathrooms clean, ensuring that all the amenities are available in all the rooms. A keen eye on details, will help the property go from good to excellent.

Hotel is good , Location is superb , but maintenance should be improved. Food quality was not upto the mark

The cottage rooms are huge but lacks of basic amenities. Electric kettle was provided without any refreshment like tea or coffee. No toiletries were provided other than 2 small soap packets. Rooms are not properly maintained. Construction works are going on and the disturbance is there since morning to late evening. Unknown people are roaming and gossiping at the balcony. They have not provided a bottle of water also as complementary which all other hotels are providing. At the time of leaving they also asked for tips which you can’t deny. Only good thing is the on site parking. Otherwise it is not recommended for book the property. There are other properties available at the same price in the location with good service.

There is no jetspray in (516 )bathroom . no.hair drayer is also not available.

Overall good. Food quality and quantity need to be improved . Food menu should be some more items

The receptionist's behaviour was very bad and resort rules regulation was very bad compared to other resorts ..

Not value for the money restaurant is not good food prices is very high behaviour of the staff is horrible we will not go to this hotel again

It was such a great day out there. Location of the property was amazing. Talking about the food it was quite tasty. Over all the property was clean and had a good view of the river which was beautiful. There staff were really friendly. I enjoyed staying at the property.

Food was delicious, excellent service and it was a relaxing stay...my son enjoyed the most at pool and park.

This was our second stay at this hotel this year. The location is unbelievably good, with a huge area for moving about and walking. We were perhaps given the best room of the hotel - 506. The quality of food was also very good and the room service was quite prompt. The swimming pool was very well maintained. The only problem we faced was the internet connection in the room.

overall property is well maintained. Restaurant service always request upfront order which is difficult to plan always, mixed up one lunch order with other room once. also not all items are not always available, for example continental items like sandwich and other items like fresh lime soda not available during dinner

The rooms are nice and quite spacious.They are airy and we booked the river view rooms. Room service was good. Staff behaviour was polite. But I think they were a bit understaffed on the day we went as it took a long time at the in house restaurant. Food quality was standard. We did not find anything displeasing. Overall we had a good stay.

The location of the resort is excellent with a picturesque river view from the balcony  of the room we stayed in. The resort is very well maintained with a lovely children's park in the front and a beautiful swimming pool at the back. The staff at the resort were mostly well behaved. I would've  given a 5 star rating to the resort but for the food quality and taste which we were not quite satisfied with. On the first day buffet breakfast was not available and the items they served us were very few. Moreover, the restaurant service staff had a lackadaisical approach in general. Buffet breakfast was eventually made available on subsequent days after arrival of few more guests. However we had expected a  much wider breakfast spread considering the high standards of the resort. Most of the items listed in the menu card were not available. The chicken in chicken kasa we ordered once was too hard to masticate and chilly fish had a sweetish flavour, much to our dismay.  A plate of chicken pakoda cost us Rs 325 plus GST even though there was hardly any chicken in the pakodas. Notwithstanding all this, our overall stay was quite good and it has been an enjoyable experience  for us.
