Lamrin Norwood Green

Location - property is 5 min from the palampur market. Villas are amazing and decor is beautiful. The verandah overlooks a tea estate and has a view of the dhauladhar mountains. The serene surroundings are however shattered by the noise of a genset (which powers the nearby mobile towers) for a large part of the day. Hygiene - rooms and bathrooms are good size, neat and clean. Staff sweeps and swabs room daily. Biggest dissapointment was the hygiene in pantry of the villa. Left over eatables like curd/fruit was left uncovered in the pantry for hours. Used crockery and utensils were left unwashed for several hours and even overnight. 2 adults of four of us got a stomach upset as did members from a neighbouring villa. Staff- usually each villa is manned by one caretaker. However, during our stay, one caretaker was providing service to 2 villas. Facilities- a tt table and children s carrom board are available on the property, but the biggest dissappointment was the lack of spa facilities considering the property name and the tariff it was a huge let down.

We were on our way back from dharamshala after watching an ipl match when just by a matter of chance we ended up staying in this property. We ended up doing a last minute booking. We were delighted after reaching outside the property because it was so well lit and landscaping around it made us feel we were in the lap of nature. We were given an option to upgrade to a room with the balcony. We didnt miss a chance to upgrade provided we had our own privacy and a tea garden view which was a value addition. The food was outstanding and we were served by maninder throughout our stay who was very friendly and just made us feel like as we were at home.

Nor-wood greens. We had a really wonderful stay there! while approach the property we had a doubt may be it would be a shady place but but i was totally wrong. They had everything so well maintained even during the covid times it was fully operational! the staff just fulfills all the levels of hospitality ! our care taker was gulshan ji we could call him and ask for anything and he would without any doubt get it arranged! food was exceptionally good wonder full homely food ! view of tea garden made me sit outside till 2 am in the night it was soo wonderful ! i am surely going to go there again ! good job host !

The property is beautiful and exclusive, but i found it a bit expensive for what it has to offer. Mainly the proximity and access to tea gardens is what prompted me to book this over others. Mind you those tea gardens are not so safe to walk into after all. There is no proper walking path so you have to walk through the bushes. I was bitten by 2 leaches while taking a stroll which bled for a long time.

My father mother and my uncle aunt went to lamrin norwood resort palampur for 3days 2 nights stay. As expected, the hospitality was awesome. Staff was very helpful and polite. Mr. Rakesh (manager)takes all the responsibility and delivers too good hospitality. Everything from food to cleanliness and location was just awesome. I strongly recommend this property whoever visiting palampur.

It was a wonderful experience, breathtaking view of the snow clad mountain with beautiful villas within the tea estate. Top class amenities with very efficient staff. Food was very tasty. I will specially mention Mr Sanjay for his round the clock service.

It was a wonderful experience.. loved the serene beauty.. a calm quiet place away from hush hush of cities.. Our caretaker raman was very nice too.. Only drawback was no bonfire could b arranged for us after repeated requests too ☹️

The stay was comfortable. Personal butler service was great and the food was yummy. The room was a little small. It would be good to go for tea estate facing rooms as they are bigger with a bigger balcony

Lamreen is an awesome place to stay at palampur. The rooms are well lit. Best part is mr. Raman’s service and hospitality.

Take the entire cottage and plan with 6-10 members

A very nice villa away from city hustle, facing tea estate. Nice room and courteous staff adds to the experience. Food is good quality and tasty.

But overpriced for the off season

Fabulous cottage. Important point is that they use ro water not plastic bottled water. Staff very supportive. Overall 9/10
