worst room ac won't work properly,beds are going down insects, food also costly

We had a short stay at hotel mayura shantala. The location was excellent, just across the road from hoysaleshwara temple halebidu. The room was decent. The bathroom was very spacious. The food was delicious. Would suggest doing little repair work to make the hotel better.

We went as a family of 3 member and booked AC Room for our stay .Excellent location just opposite of the temple but surrounding property was poorly maintained.Rooms were clean and spacious but there was lot of power fluctuations and we couldn’t get proper sleep for few hours .back up power management was poor .Those planning to go with small children must think twice . Food choice was very less .Staff were helpful in times of power cuts.If the maintenance of the property was good it could’ve been more Happier stay .

The hotel location is at the right place just opposite the halebeedu temple. The staff is good, the ambience of the hotel is also nice they even have a small playground for kids.

KSTDC Hotel Mayura Shantala in Halebeedu is more of a guest house than a proper hotel. The location is undoubtedly its best feature—right near the temple, making sightseeing convenient. However, the experience beyond that was quite disappointing. The rooms had a persistent foul odor, making the stay uncomfortable. To make matters worse, I even found a leech in the bathroom, which was extremely off-putting. The AC in the room was non-functional, and with no intercom available, getting help was a challenge. The staff was friendly and tried their best to assist, but unfortunately, they seemed ill-equipped to handle basic service expectations. If you're looking for a stay purely for its proximity to the temple and don't mind basic accommodations with hygiene issues, this might work. Otherwise, I’d recommend looking for better alternatives nearby.

Bathroom water did not drain , lizards on room . Spring bed is sinking in unevenly. Guess it’s cheap so one should expect poor quality.

Rooms are dirty, not to be listed in this price category. Parking is also too congested. Room and bathroom condition needs to be improved

1. the hotel was not maintained properly. 2. hotel rooms were not maintained as per the rate. the blankets were not clean . bathroom were not well. 3. ⁠complementary breakfast provided is of bad quality.

Location/food/services - is definitely good. This location is worth for money. Decent, clean and very near to halebeedu temple and also just 30 minutes drive to belur. But just a suggestion to other visitors. If they are planning to visit other places around hassan, better to stay at hassan.

The room wasn't ready for the stay, they don't have dedicated maintenance person to look into electrical and plumbing problems This property is walkable and opposite to hoysaleshawara temple, but i don't recommend this hotel, people can stay at belur or hassan instead. Food was ok.

The shantala, halebidu stay is just opp. To halebidu temple. Rooms are huge approx. 225sqft. Big size room, big size bathroom, clean, tidy rooms, huge campus, close to market.

Room was not cleaned well. Bathroom windows and mosquito nets need to be repaired. Lots of insects got in due to this. Overall room hygiene needs to be improved a lot.

It was very clean and spacious room

The property has an excellent caretaker by name shashank. He ensures that u fart a homely treatment. But the property requires renovation like plumbing and electrical fixtures.

Based on its iconic location which is right opposite to the halebeedu temple. This place offers a good stay with decent food. I had gone with my toddler. She enjoyed her stay a lot. It is a must try

The hotel staff are terrible, non cooperative, when i reached night at the place, the staff were sleeping. I had to call them again and again. The room given to us was full of stains, dirty, cigarette smell. It seems some one used, partied before we reached. The staff did not provided water, towel, hand soap. When i asked him he was showing arrogant as though he is doing some favor. the manage never available. He was sleeping in his home and did not bother to pick my calls despite of calling him to inform the same. The ac in room was unserviceable, no fan. I could not sleep. Photo shows good room, but basically it's terrible, old stinky room.. One should not go to that hotel ever.

Property was very good but among the three(3) phone numbers given in booking slip, 1st one was not working, 2nd one( office number )was switched off, 3rd one ( resturant ) was ringing but no one there to pick up the phone, after waiting for more than 30 minutes and knocking the office door so many times ( closed that time) 2 stuff came and handed over the room to me. Ok, i will do.

The hotel is situated just across the famous hoysaleshwara temple. The room was spacious. There were no amineties like bath towels, toiletteries. There was frequent power outages.

Location of the place is very good. It is right next to the temples in halebeedu. However dont expect any luxury. Had to request multiple times to get the power backup. Also restaurant is not functional.
