I stayed one night at Kalyan Tourist Home, Palakkad. The room condition was very good and spacious, with decent cleanliness. The staff were polite and helpful. The highlight of my stay was the food — it was excellent and exceeded expectations. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant experience.

Not worth for the amount. Tv was there, but internet connection was not. Heater was not working. Room was full of mosquitoes. will not recommend to anyone

we stayed here for 2 days. we are family of 4 adults. we booked a family room for 1 day stay. after reached the hotel, we extended for another day. it was a nice stay for us. located near to the palakkad town, railway station, all are reachable within 2 to 3 kms. the rooms were very spacious and neat & clean. appreciate the staffs were customer centric approach when I asked for extension for another day. Spacious car parking. overall I had a very nice and peaceful stay here.

They didn’t provide blanket. Intercom was not working to contact their reception. Mosquitos made my night beautiful 🥲

The property was located in the city limit and easy access to all nearby areas. The room was clean and neat. Restrooms was also very hygienic and maintained with cleanliness with 24hrs hot water supply. The food was authentic traditional kerala breakfast was provided only issue with food it can be served hot rather keeping it in hot box it can have live stations. Overall the stay was more comfortable and convenient and satisfying for the money spent.

The rooms were impeccably clean, and the beds exceptionally comfortable. While the staff maintained professionalism and were generally courteous, the overall interaction felt somewhat impersonal. Nonetheless, the experience was pleasant and comfortable overall."

Our experience at the property was quite disappointing. Although the check-in time was stated as 12 PM, we were made to wait over an hour at the reception and were only allotted our room at 1 PM. Furthermore, upon entering the room, we found that there were no basic amenities such as bedsheets, drinking water, or glasses provided. The only items available were two towels and a bar of soap. Overall, this was a very unsatisfactory stay, and based on this experience, I would not consider booking a room at this property again.

Room was good, but the most striking was the facilities offered- they provided a water heating kettle, which was my first ever experience, hot water bath, complimentary small breakfast fast buffet.

Kalyan tourist home is an old hotel. I took 2 rooms and we just spent a night there. It is just averagely maintained. The room size is small. There are no toiletries except for soap available, we had to insist the front desk to provide us with a dental kit. We also had to request for a 2nd towel in each room. The woolen blankets do not have cotton sheet underneath and we had to separately ask for it. The table clothes on the restaurant tables have dried food particles stuck to it. There is no tea/coffee making facility in the room. The food is good even though they have only a limited menu. The bathroom is good, clean and tidy with hotwater facility. There is an empty mini fridge they expect us to fill it with food/drinks. We did-not have breakfast as we had to leave early. They do not provide early breakfast.
