Great Stay in Chopta – Peaceful and Comfortable

Chopta is a beautiful place, and our stay here was really nice. The resort is well maintained, and the stay was comfortable... just what we needed after a long day of travel. We reached late in the evening, and the staff was very kind. A big thank you to Mr. Dimple, who made sure we got hot food and warm rooms, even at that hour. It felt like home. The rooms had good blankets and hot water, which is very helpful in the cool mountain air. In the morning, we woke up to amazing views of the Himalayas. It was so peaceful. By 6:30 AM, they served us a fresh and tasty breakfast before our trek to Tungnath. The staff was helpful and friendly the whole time. If you are planning to visit Chopta for trekking or just to relax, I really recommend this place. It’s quiet, clean, and the people truly care about their guests. Best time to visit Chopta is from May to June, when the weather is pleasant and perfect for trekking to Tungnath and Chandrashila.

Beautiful views with great food & service

The hotel is just outside ukhimath. the location is on the road with beautiful views. The rooms were neat & clean with proper toiletries available in a clean bathroom. The food was simply incredible. There was an issue with a spider in one of the rooms. But given the offbeat location of the hotel in the wild, this is a natural tradeoff. The staff swiftly addressed the issue.

familyWe had an amazing stay in Chopta! Everything was great – the rooms were clean, the washrooms were well-maintained, and Wi-Fi was available, which was a bonus. As we were traveling with our toddler, the chef made special arrangements to prepare less spicy food for us, which was the highlight of our stay.
