location is best in the entire pahalgam ....room is though under renovation....but it is very spacious.. bathroom is very good ...once the room will complete..it will one of the best property... dining and kitchen facilities needed

We stayed at Hotel Sunshine in June24. The location of the hotel is great. Its about 3 kms from the Pahalgam market, a beautiful waterfall flows from right in front of the property’s garden, so you can enjoy your food and nice hot cup of tea sitting in the garden and hearing the beautiful sound of the waterfall. The staff is extremely hospitable and will genuinely look at what you need. Would like to specially mention Javed bhai (property’s owner) who also took out time to take us to the market when we wanted to have the best coffee in Pahalgam and also took us to genuine shops for shopping (being with a local helped us get fair rates). They were sweet enough to arrange for a 2 wheeler for us when we wanted to visit the market. The rooms were decent- considering construction/ repair is restricted in Pahalgam. But the property is supposed to become even better is what the owner explained to us by the end of 2024. Cleanliness is something that we feel can be better. Rest all good.

This hotel sun shine is like completely a pack of mess. Reasons. 1. Unclean bedsheet, pillows and towels. 2. Dusty rack. No wardrobe to stuff clothes. 3. No warm water when required. 4. Wash basin tap is like hanging and water spill out. 5. No one was available at pigeon hole reception. 6. Stinking room due to dirty carpet. This is not worth of even rs. 500 . I feel cheated I just checked out within 10 minutes. Was very disappointed and felt embarrassed in front of my family.

Hotel is extremely dilapidated with no geyser, no hot water and heater in room and hotel staff is very rude and uncooperative

Its not worth more than 1000 rupees. No room service no telephone. No power blanket. Worst hotel ever. And also forcing to take horse ride from him only. Unhygienic hotel. Very dirty

Very small roomno bathroom amenities available like soap, hand wash, shampoo, dental kitbathroom towel was very dirtyno heater facility available at such ice cool placechildren were shivering literallybathroom plumbing also very poor qualityi was required to check out at 7:30 morning but when i went down at 7:00 am, there is no one at reception or other side of hotel to attend. Reception room was locked from inside and when i knock the door no one has opened the doorthere is no water available in room when we check inthere is no inter telecom facility in room and i need to go down stairs for any requirement

Food quality was very poor. I never eat that type of poha. Only good thing is hotel location.

We had a terrible experience staying there. No continuous hot water. Hygiene was compromised in the entire room and bathroom was pathetic. It’s like staying in a dingy place. I will share some pics too. Hospitality wise too it wasn’t worth it. A person don’t feel like sleeping on that bed even if you are very tired. Can’t say more. Don’t go!

Drains of bathroom were blocked, dusting was not done, beds were having spring not comfortable to sleep, hot water facility is not 24 hours

The rooms are filthy. Beds are stinking, bath room is terrible.

Hotel does not have even basic facility. No backup power no drinking water no hot kettle dirty linen no room service very expensive

Dirty rooms, small non spacious, no balcony, no terrace, poor service. The hotel owner could not serve breakfast to all guests citing shortage of food material. Mmt should make provision for refund to customers for this terrible and dreadful stay. And tariff is much above the worth. Mm t should visit and see for itself before overcharging such inflated amount.

I had booked and paid for this place on the basis of seen, but in actual the property was very unhygienic. Not recommended for stay at all. I had to leave from there seen the property condition.

Location of hotel is very good on river banks, rooms are very small and the blankets quilts and beddings and linen are not upto mark, the boy at front desk was very helpful and courteous

Don't waste your money booking this hotel. Book another hotels in Pahalgam. No facilities, no Wi-Fi, no service, no light, not even a mobile charges. This is poorest value for Sun Shine and if you have more money give it to beggars, don't book this hotel. Rate is 2500rs but with service it will not cost more than 700rs.

Nice hotel ro stay. Service was good. Even if you lije to stay near river its best. Room is lije a 3 star hotel. A leisure trip would suit this hotel perfectly. Hotel is very good
