food was excellent. value for money not upto the level. parking is out of the compound. balance all ok

The hotel was very old hotel and when entered there was a odd smell of fungus kind and food was also not good . Room service also doesn’t respond for any kind of calls

Well , my stay was very bad they didn't served a single water bottle and the receptionist were very rude because of a small conflict, it was like on the day I reached early morning 7 at the hotel and the receptionist staff gave me the room key .. but when I came to check out the next day early morning at 6 a.m , the receptionist gave me a bill of 500 Rupees for the early check in which no one mentioned me while he was handovering the key to .. so the argument started, and I said though I checked in earlier as same I'm checking out earlier so isn't that fair enough not to be charged extra .. Even after paying 2189 rupees for a average room that too for a single night .. I paid extra 500 for the inhumane person

Location wise, Hotel Peninsula is situated on the MG Road and very close to Vadakkumnathan Temple, Trissur. Recently, I had an opportunity to stay in the said hotel with my family. Being a well-known hotel, I was expecting a comfortable stay and, of course, a better service. But I was rather disappointed. As we entered, I could make out that the room air conditioning unit was not functioning in the way it should be and we had to request the executive at the reception for a change of the allotted room within hours of checking-in. Secondly, the general cleanliness hotel was poor. Lots of garbage and used dishware with remnants of food in them were shabbily laying just outside the lobby door on a continuous basis, making it an eyesore for the occupants in the vicinity. Menu for the complimentary breakfast was limited and the staff therein the restaurant were not so welcoming, pleasing or alert enough to take the orders and serve what is ordered. Having said that, contrary to the above negatives, I could find that the staff at the reception counter were very cordial, helpful and obliging. In toto, I had a mixed feeling about the said hotel and hope that the management will view and take it in the right spirit.

Hotel room and services are good but there s 2 bar attached to this hotel, one is inside the hotel so every time drunken local people are roaming inside the hotel and even they are using the hotel lift facility, so we feel unsafe in the lift as well as in the hotel also.. so not recommending for family

The location is good. The size is good. But the facilities are not that great. It's an old building, but renovated. The amenities are not up to the mark, when compared with the rates they charge. The breakfast is very limited. At this price they should provide buffet breakfast. The parking is far away from the property. Overall it's just average stay with exorbitant rates. It's better to avoid.

The bathrooms were not that good and rooms were not so good as rating. not good to stay with family

I have never stayed in such a terrible hotel. I should say it was the worst stay. Rooms and washroom were not clean. Door of washroom was broken. And moreover the service made it more worse. They make us wait for half an hour before check in. The staff behaviour was arrogant.

Room lacks lights, creaky and defunct ac, room 204, fan has a regulator problem, efficient staff, covininet location

Not many tv channels available, called the operator they told only this much channel we will not recharge it. No hot water, when asked they will send a person to check and no one is turned back. Very old ac, lots of sound in the room, not able to sleep at night.

Value for money stay. Good for bar lovers; they have 3 bars within the property. Extremely nice staff.

Located on the main road hence very convenient. On the contrary Bar is attached to the building and crowd will be there along with smell while entering. Rooms needs maintenance especially AC unit and bath room fittings. Both if there are very old and not looking good.

The rooms are old the ac is leaking and when asked the hotel to change it they gave us rooms in two different floor. Also if booking for family i won't suggest as its near a local bar and the crowd is not good. Not worth the price. Sup-rising but the food is good

The hotel room upkeep is not upto the mark and the rooms were not cleaned during our stay for 2 days. The response from the hotel to our requirements was pathetic. Verall not happy with our stay there.
