Hotel New Iceland, Manali

Rajat was very helpful in finding different options for outdoor adventures. And Suneil was fantastic at shuttling us two different pick up points to start Hikes in the hills and arranging other support services for us. This place has all the equipment, guides, food services, and equipment needed for all levels of outdoor enthusiasts.

Hotel iceland is totally value for money. Excellent location with just 5 min walk to the main market at the same time secluded enough. They have kept the place super clean and well maintained. The service was outstanding. Overall totally 5 star.

Stay was good but there was only one issue they do not serve anything between 10:30 am to 1 pm, so be prepared for this

The view from the balcony is just amazing and the food quality, and taste is perfect as compared to their menu prices. A perfect stay option with best views and in great price.

Location: fantastic they allowed us to check-in early in the morning around 7am. Food: inconsistent staff: ignorant and lacks motivation rooms: in a terrible condition, there is nothing premium about their premium rooms! they will charge you for a heater which is simply a one rod heater, it doesn't do it's job as it is really really cold out there! they don't arrange a bonfire ( which is again strange) the place surely lacks warmth in every sense!

Positives 1. Spacious room with balcony. 2. Good fast service for food and other things. 3. Food was decent and taste was good. Its essential for this isolated place. 4. Staff was welcoming and cooperative arranging jeep for travel to atal tunnel and dropping at manali. They have their 4x4 for pickup and drop. 4. View from hotel is good. 5. Lot of activities around like basic skying and zip line and quad biking. Negative 1. No room heater by default, had to take a room heater for rs 300 for rent. 2. The portable room heater was reflective type not fan type. It's not at all sufficient for temp of - 10 to - 20 deg in winter. 3. They should upgrade the heater type to wall mounted with blower which can keep whole room warm. If they improve the room heater to wall mounted this will become a perfect room. Hope they take this suggestion.

Breakfast was complimentary, but no buffet. we have to wait for ala carte menu to be prepared and to be served so late.

I paid ... for a super deluxe room. The bathroom was dirty with a used soap lying on the floor. Water from the basin was flowing out in the bathroom. The chairs and table in the balcony was very dirty and greasy. Water was given in a dirty jug. Though we had paid for breakfast there was no choice and we were served with badly prepared omelette in a stinky and stuffy dinning area. I will rate it 1 out 5 and feel cheated for the price i was charged. The aminities and ambience of the hotel is very mediocre.

Staff behaviour, facilities, location, view, room service everything was excellent. Food quality was amazing.

Food quality, service, and verity were very good. It is a safe place for travelers. The manager's behavior was wonderful. The property was clean. I would recommend this place to everyone.
