Hotel Megh Balika

The room provided by the hotel management was very dirty and the geyser of the bathroom was not working and it was also mention-able that the hotel management didn't provide the remote of the ac and for this reason we cannot control the room temperature. The housekeeping and cleaning staff of the hotel don't give their service but at the time of check out they come for tips. In short my experience about this hotel is very bad.

The hotel is good, but there are numerous problems too. Like ac leaks water at times. View from the balcony is pathetic, it's a dumpster. But rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is really good though

The executive rooms are very good. Very near to New Digha Sea Beach. Food quality is excellent in their restaurant. Services are also good. Thank you 🙏🏻

I selected this hotel based on the 4. 1 rating. I am listing out the pros and cons. Pros: 1. Very well behaved and courteous staff 2. All hotel personnel are helpful and polite 3. Food at the in-house restaurant is very good and very reasonably priced cons: 1. There is some issue with their cooling system, if you turn off the air conditioner or set the temperature above 16 degrees, there's water everywhere. Floor, door, walls and furniture. 2. We had to call the housekeeping staff multiple times to clean up the water 3. The bathroom tap was not working, and it wasn't fixed in the 2 days that we stayed there, despite asking multiple times 4. Room service is very slow if you choose to stay in this hotel, please make sure they give you a room that has no cooling problem. This problem exists in multiple rooms, as we came across other boarders complaining as well. Unfortunately, the good behaviour doesn't make up for the uncomfortable room stay.

The rooms were standard but one disadvantage was if the ac is turned off the floor of the room is so watery so to avoid the watery floor the ac had to be turned on at least 24° even if we are out of the room... or else the stay was great and the food from their resturant is mind-blowing...the foods are must try.... The staff are well behaved and the staff of the restaurant is also so mannered and well behaved

Hotel staff behaviour is good. Housekeeping is good. Bengali food quality is the best but little bit spicy.

I have been staying here for last 5 years about 5 times. But service has deteriorated a bit. Food is awesome though.

They check the bags and they don't provide any privacy they keep ringing the bell 3 times a day to give orders from the hotel they even continuously call on the land line for orders from the restaurant. They clean the centre table with the broom that they clean the floor. They provide the towel on the floor and then provide it to the guest. Neither do they provide proper room service. Toilet window was broken and was covered with a news paper. Really disappointed.

The rooms we were provided after a confirmed booking were not well ventilated. These were the backside rooms with useless balcony, for balconies providing views of closely standing wall of another hotel or a dirty, littered piece of land with bad smell. The room service was poor too. Instead of management or, to say, providing a solution, they always came up with smart answers to silent us. They even tried to serve our food on a table just finished, still not mopped. It was an unhappy experience.

Location excellent food excellent room excellent vehicle for site seeing also can be arranged by the hotel.

Cooperative staff, clean rooms & the location of the hotel is the main usp of the property. It was really a nice stay.

Just 2 minute walking distance from new digha sea beach, best budget hotel in new digha. Staff behavior good, food also good.

I stayed for 2 days with family. The hotel is close to new digha beach. Behavior of stuffs are very good. Room is below average for the price i booked. I got a backside balcony, with road view. There are no sea view rooms in this hotel. Food was excellent in reasonable price. If you manage to get rooms at 1400 to 1600 range you can opt for this hotel. Anything more than this price is not worth tje valur for money, since the rooms are not excellent.

The hotel is good the staff is cooperative. Food is, average / good. Prompt room service. Location wise very near to the beach. The only improvement area is to make the bathroom a little airy or put some exhaust. Overall a good hotel. I was in a deluxe room from 13th oct 23 to 15th it 23.

We found out about this hotel through make my trip only, we had a awesome stay here. From staff behaviour, room cleanliness to food everything was very good the rooms were really comfortable for the stay. In short it was perfect.

Hotel is good hotel manger behavior great but restaurant manger behavior very bad and poor service i don't go next time this hotel.

I have stayed in room number 205. The room floor was damp. Water was emitting out from floor heavily. It's look like some one had poured bucket of water on the floor. If the room air conditioner was switched on then only the floor was dry. You can not switch off the air conditioner.

Hotel front view is good but back side and room condition is very poor, balcony is not good, inappropriate lock system main door aswell as bathroom door, room service is very bad, check out time 9. 00 am, its a very bad. Staff behavior is not good, specially after 10pm. Parking zone is not available
