Hotel Kanchan Recreation

I stayed at Kanchan Creation Hotel in Maheshwar and had a very disappointing experience. From the outside, the hotel looks nice, but once you enter, you realize it’s an old, poorly maintained property. Dust is everywhere, curtains and furnishings look dull, and the rooms do not match the bright photos shown on MakeMyTrip. Here’s what I faced: • Unhygienic Room: On check-in, the ground floor room I was given looked old and dirty. When I opened the curtain, I noticed the door was not closing properly, making it unsafe. As a solo woman traveler, this was extremely uncomfortable. • Dirty Washroom: The bathroom was in a terrible condition – unflushed toilet, hair in the basin, dirty cupboard below the sink with old soaps, and overall unhygienic. • Poor Room Condition: AC unit was broken, bedsheets didn’t look fresh, and nothing gave a clean or welcoming feeling. • Unsafe Atmosphere: The property felt deserted, which made me feel very unsafe. At night, I heard only men’s voices in the hall and no sign of other women guests, which added to the discomfort. The rooms also lacked proper security from inside. • False Impression: Photos on booking sites are misleading – they might be of the same rooms, but in reality, the property is dull, old, and unhygienic. • Food: Dinner was okay, and the owner was polite while talking, but that doesn’t make up for the unhygienic and unsafe conditions. Overall, the hygiene level is below zero and safety for women travelers is a big concern. This was one of the dirtiest and most uncomfortable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially solo women travelers.

This is, I feel, the best hotel in Maheshwar, not in terms of ambiance or decor but in terms of behaviour and support of the hotel staff. They are always willing to help their customers. This time it so happened that the AC of my room was creation unpleasant noise and I was not comfortable with that. When the issue could not be fixed, they were kind enough to shift me to a higher category room. What was even better that the hotel manager himself helped me in shifting my luggage to the new room because at the time of shifting all the room boys were engaged in other tasks.

Good house keeping, enjoy a lot, room size is good, enjoy a loot , near to market , vehicle parking is safe

Not a clean room,very dirty. tv is also not working, washroom flush is also not working. The quality of hotel is never match with the hotel rates. The other hotel in the same town & same rate is much more better. The hotel conditions never justify its price👎

Home away from home. Spacious bungalow with prompt and fast service. Now needs renovation but still safe and secured place for family. Waiting for you even late night for your arrival and providing hot tea for refreshing you after long journey.

Hotel is in a good location on Sahastradhara road. Staff is co operative. Food is delivered on order. Recommended as budget friendly option

Basic hotel with large rooms with required facilities. Home like hot food available on ordering. Parking is very scarce. Service is fast. It’s like a large home converted into a hotel. Overall a very basic hotel in maheshwar.

Room was very good. Need to improve on room service. Need to follow up for towels n soap multiple times.

Breakfast was denied since they had hot water issue. Ok place. Many good options available. Hot water was not there so water was provided in bucket that to less.

Comfortable stay with humble staff. Just be aware that the property does not have a lift. Otherwise all else is ok.

The stay was comfortable. I stayed with my family. There is no lift and the suite was on third floor which could be a hassle for elderly folks. We did not opted for breakfast while booking, but decided to have breakfast which included sabudana khichdi and aloo paratha. The food was tasty but took quite some time and second paratha was denied as they were asking for 30 mins more for its preperation. The room was not clean when we reached but it is spacious. It was a satisfactory stay.

Room was in damaged position. No facilities were there. I hv booked it for my old age parents. They wanted warm water. Nothing was in the room

Bathroom was stinky. Room had a very weird smell. It was not cleaned properly. There were bedbugs. Overall it’s an unpleasant experience.

The location of property is very good. It is near to tourist places. The staff is polite and cooperative. Over all experience is excellent.
