Hotel Castle Mandawa

I have travelled extensively across India and abroad, and on a few occasions, I have accidentally left some valuables behind in my hotel room or suite. Fortunately, I have always received them back through the honest efforts of hotel staff — even a costly watch once forgotten at Hotel Marriott, Jaipur, was safely returned to us after a few months upon our inquiry and providing its photograph. However, this time, I was quite disappointed. Shortly after checking out, we realized that we had left behind a gold diamond-studded ring in the room. We immediately rushed back, but unfortunately, it could not be found. We are 100% sure that the staff, while resetting the room, must have come across it, and given its tiny size, it could have been easily concealed. I am not directly holding the hotel responsible — I fully acknowledge that I should have been more careful with my valuables, as I usually am. Still, this experience was unlike any I have had before, either in India or abroad, and left a slightly unpleasant impression. That said, everything else during our stay — from hospitality to overall comfort — was good. Hence, I would still rate the experience as 4 out of 5, though this unfortunate incident did leave a mark on an otherwise pleasant stay.

Excellent hospitality, food and stay

It’s was nice property but there is so much delay in delivery of food or tea ! Rest all good about the ambiance cleanliness and the behaviour of staff and one more in your app that in standard room you have shown the photos of suit room which initially I didn’t know so I confronted the staff they told me about it so please look in to this matter so no one else won’t be fooled by this cheap marketing of yours !

Very beautiful castle. the staff here makes sure that you are staying at a castle. the food was excellent. The chef and everyone at the restaurant were very helpful and polite. the person at the front desk Ram Avtar ji showed us the castle and explained everything to us very beautifully. A must visit place if you like heritage and art and royalty . I will visit there again for sure.

Great place, service, staff, food, ambience. Place is little unique as its a fort converted to hotle. Nice place for stay. Cam be good for 2-3 days. It was great experience, ambience, staff, food☺️

Very good stay management was quite helpful and responsive to our request to provide rooms on ground floor. The rooms and hotel surrounding are quite neat and photogenic. We stayed for one night and had amazing stay.

Location with map is incorrect lighting in the haveli n ground is very bad service is very poor door of the washroom was getting stuck mandawa is completely a very small town. I was totally disappointed

First the property was at one corner of town which you had to go by crossing the whey crowded market and arriving we were offered a room which was at the corner of the resort. The room had two single beds and two diwans. So all four of us were supposed to sleep at different beds. The water of the swimming pool was not very clean. There was no one to offer any kind of help at the swimming pool. There were a lot of tataiya(wasp insect) flying around in the resort. There is absolutely nothing to do in the resort. Even the tv in the room is the cheapest brand and smallest one with no subscription at all. There was absolutely nothing to do there. We checked out of the resort at 3:30 pm as it was difficult to even spend 1 night there. The restaurant too did not have even a single person. It was kind of a bhoot bangla. They were only concerned about foreign tourist. It is a strict no for domestic travellers.

New section rooms do not give heritage feel. Swimming pool not clean. Request sparrow huts in garden

They give a different treatment if you’re an visitor. The room was barely ok for a deluxe room. The ac and the tv remotes didn’t work. The rooms have 2 levels within itself with a short step which made it extremely dangerous for my 1 year old toddler. The toilet setting was totally confusing with bidet on the left and toilet paper out of reach. The staff would try to extort tips without even giving any services. we got a king bed for 2 adults and 2 children and the reception also extorted 1000 for a small floor mattress so that my toddler could sleep on floor without the danger of falling from the bed. It felt like they don’t like to serve their own native guests

It's an excellent hotel to stay in, very comfortable and a great place to relax. Room was big. The swimming pool area is lovely
