Review: Extremely Disappointed with the Service (Except for Location)
Except for the location, everything else about our stay was disappointing. My team and I booked 3 rooms for 3 days, and the experience was far from what we expected.
Check-in Delay: It took 45 minutes just to provide us with the room keys, which set a poor tone from the start.
Poor Room Service: For a double occupancy room, only one toothbrush was provided. When we requested a second one, it took 30 minutes to arrive. Similarly, when we asked for ironing services, we received the Iron after 25 minutes, which caused us to miss an important conference, arriving at 10:30 AM instead of 9:00 AM.
Housekeeping Issues: On the second day, towels were not placed in the room. Again, we had to wait 30 minutes for them to arrive, causing further delays.
Breakfast Quality: We had breakfast included for all three days, but the menu was exactly the same every day. Only the South Indian items were somewhat acceptable — the rest of the food was unpalatable.
Staff Miscommunication: I forgot to include breakfast for my staff during the initial booking, so I paid an additional during check-in. However, the next morning, my staff was kept waiting outside the restaurant for 25 minutes because the night staff failed to update the morning team. This was embarrassing and unacceptable.
Overall, the attitude and professionalism of the staff were severely lacking. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for business travelers.
