Gypsy Nest

The room was really poor and not as shown in images, the water supply was irregular and blanket provided was stinking and torn, really a terrible place to stay.

from NZ Overall enjoyed Gypsy nest, friendly staff and free filtered cold water. stayed in the dorm room which provided a locked cupboard that fitted my bags easily. it was quite warm but had a fan over the bed. My main con was the bathroom but balanced by the price. enjoyed the location - Sheroes next door had good food and amazing service. also went to a barber that the driver who worked outside Gypsy nest recommended

When I went there, I realised I have been there before when it's used to named as "Gostops". Everything is same but it's just that the hostel is getting old they need to paint it and should clean the washroom.

That pretty much sums up our stay at Gypsy Nest. We only stayed their for 6 hours and it was easily the worst stay I've ever stayed at. The beds were moist and gross. The bathroom had hard water and literally unusable for brushing or bathing. I wouldn't recommend this stay to anyone.

One of the best stay. The host is also great. Overall it was a nice and comfortable experience. Location is very near to Taj Mahal

Smelling rooms, unhygienic bathrooms, tainted curtains. The property is not at all maintained, the pictures are 6 years old when they started and i had visited the place then. Made the mistake of booking it again and was stuck with this place as it was an extended weekend and all other places were booked.

The pictures are old, don’t fall for it. I came back to this hostel after 6 years only to found out that it has not been maintained.I booked this for my group of friends and was embarrassed of my choice. It is not at all maintained and the room and common places all stink. On requesting to clean the toilet, the cleaning person only flushed the toilet and it felt like the floor has not been mopped for months. Sheets are not clean, there is dampness on the wall and curtains. On giving the feedback to the owner the response was that we try our best to clean. Only the location is good, but I won’t recommend staying there because of Hygiene and it also felt a bit unsafe.

Its good when you are travel-ling alone. Pocket friendly for a sleep staycation. Recommended for a weekend solo trip

I stayed there for 3 nights it’s was good but not so hygienic. Bathroom was not clean and wet for straight 3 days and no one came to clean it. Next time i’ll probably choose another hostel.

The water was continuously getting spilled onto the room because of ac and there was a timing for the usage of ac, there was no room service available

The dormitory was clean, ac was working perfectly. But tap water was hard water. You can't use soap or shampoo easily. Washroom was not properly clear

On my arrival i was greeted with love and smiles, jay at the front desk was warm and welcoming. Very informative and very helpful. I had booked a private room, the room was spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking the streets. The owner, rocky was more than accommodating and very informative. He made sure that i had a comfortable stay. Beautiful experience overall. Will visit again.

Excellent stay at this hotel! the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the amenities were top-notch. I especially enjoyed the rooftop view. Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Must try this hostel for comfortable stay. Hostel is near taj mahal which is a plus point and they have parking space too.

The hosts are very helpful l and freindly behaviour. They help us in every possibld way. Rooms are not as our expections but the behaviour of staff make us very happy. So if we again visit agra we like to stay at gypsee nest. One suggestion for the property owener they can renovate some extent for old items in the room which can increase more rating for this hostel. Overall we are very happy with them.

We checked-in at this property on 4th january 2024, around 6am because they had vacancy and checked out at 8am on 6th january 2024, usually check-in time is 12pm and check-out time is 11am, but they weren't fully occupied so they accommodated us. Also, we booked private bedroom via make my trip for rs. 1, 533 including tax, for myself and my boyfriend, our room had a nice balcony. We were charged rs. 500 for early check-in. The services and amenities were below average. The charging points inside the room were broken. The bed was on a dirty wooden platform. We didn't get any hot water for bathing, it seemed their geyser doesn't work. Just the location is nice. Otherwise there's nothing that good about this property. Also, their common kitchen and washroom is extremely unhygienic and dirty, it seemed like they never clean anything. I won't say highly disappointed, but not even worth staying. And there's barely place to park two wheeler.

They should be painted on the walls as well as bathroom need to much maintenance. the management should be checked the doors rooms and walls condition where all the guests stay as well as check the all bathrooms condition there are no one there who picked up the calls also not worth it.

We were traveling with a 6 year old kid, we had booked a room for the family and they gave us a 3rd floor room, and this building has no lift. Also the toilet was not working properly, after asking many times on the 1st day of our stay then don't give us towal or shop, on the 2nd day they gave us. Good points. They have a very good activity room, with a mini theatre and all ott channels activated. The staff is very good, in a good location.

Rooms are ok. Bed had bed bugs. Noise from occupants upstairs was too much in the night. No landline phone in the room to raise a complaint. Toilets were ok. But no hot water. Location was the only good thing. It was just 2-3kms away from shilpagram parking of taj mahal. Car parking was available on the road.
