Gennys Farmhouse

Inspite of a bad Rating of 1/5 on Goibibo Website, I booked Gennys Farmhouse. The reason was that it was rated as Exceptional on ****** I decided to take a risk and find out for myself. To begin with,this is a Big Bungalow surrounded by fruit trees. This gives the farmhouse a village and rustic look. A very clean and Spacious Hall, a neat Air conditioned Bedroom, and an extremely huge sparkling clean washroom with modern amenities was provided at a price of Rs 1200/- . Towels, soaps, Shampoo and One litre Mineral water Bottle was provided.Complimentary use of the full fledged kitchen having Fridge Gas etc was allowed. The linen provided was very clean This Farmhouse is touching the Main Sawantwadi Charathe Road. As it is a farmhouse it is 1.5 kms away from the city centre.However autos are available round the clock.Zomato and Swiggy does Home delivery in a matter of a few minutes. The Host Mr Fernandes is extremely helpful.He promptly arranged for auto on my request. I'm posting a few pictures of my stay to substantiate what I've experienced. The owner offers you a suite at half the price of a modest Gennys Farmhouse room. I strongly recommend this farm stay if you wish to experience a village experience. The bad Rating given to this property is difficult to understand, as there were hardly any negatives in this property . The previous guests, who had stayed in the property wrote very good commments in the suggestion book maintained by the owner. Sawantwadi is 35 kms away from Mapuca and Amboli ghats.Its like a hill station nown for its tasty Malvani Cuisine. It was a wonderful experience of staying in a beautiful farmhouse located in a rural place which brings peace' of mind to you.
