We booked this place during our trip to Gangotri and it was a lovely experience to be around nice people, great views, and homely food. Kapil manages the property with his elder brother. Both are so humble and always ready to help you out. Rooms was neat and clean, comfortable also after long days of travel. We also visit dharali where the recent flood came, it was really sad to see the damage. But now everything is safe to visit and staying here gave us peace and comfort in the valley. Highly recommend to anyone planning to stay in Harsil or going towards Gangotri.

We recently stayed at ganga river view in dharali during our trip to harsil and gangotri, and it was a wonderful experience. The check-in process was seamless, with mr. Kapil rana and the staff being warm and welcoming. I was promptly given my room key and all the information i needed for my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a beautiful view from the balcony. The surroundings near the hotel were peaceful, and we enjoyed stunning views of the bhagirathi river from our window, offering a truly calming and nature-filled experience. The staff was always attentive and ready to assist, and the food quality was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located near several popular sightseeing spots, including k alp kedar, mukhwa village and temple, bagori village (named india’s cleanest village in 2019, harsil, gangotri, and numerous trekking trails. Additionally, the hotel’s location along the highway from harsil to gangotri makes it easily accessible.

it does not at all with make my trip standard it wasnot even worth staying no food proper terrible smell from bathroom no one was even awake from to supply a cup of tea at even 7 am LEAST SAID THE BETTER NOT WORH THE PRICE I PAID

Had a wonderful day staying at this place in Harsil. Just booked this hotel in hurry but we really enjoyed balcony view, bonfire and food. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay along the river ganga!

Comfortable stay

I had very nice stay at ganga river view, harsil. Just located 1 km from harsil market, this hotel is center to many other sightseeing spots in harsil valley. The room was cozy, clean and had a great river view. Also, balcony is available. The food options are limited but overall experience was good.

absolute rubbish. A dirty place. Most unsafe. Just a few rooms in a grocery shop. No food available. A dirty small kitchen. Photos given are edited. In a single word the worst experience. Electricity was not there for hours . No light was even there.

Dear Madhuri, We appreciate your feedback, but I’d like to clarify a few points: 1. The images we have uploaded are completely original and unedited. You are the first guest to claim otherwise. 2. Our hotel is a very safe place. Just last month, we hosted a group of 22 college girls, and they had a great experience without any safety concerns. 3. We have our own restaurant where guests order as per their preferences. Saying "no food is available" is simply not true and misrepresents our property. 4. We are renovating the hotel to enhance guest experience. Due to this, our kitchen has been temporarily shifted to a smaller space, but we are still serving food as usual. 5. Harsil is a remote location, and the area is undergoing major government projects like road expansion and bridge construction under the Char Dham Yatra project. These are the reasons for the power cuts in the area. 6. We offered you a complimentary breakfast even though it wasn’t included in your package. We always try to go the extra mile for our guests. We’re sorry if you faced any inconvenience and appreciate your feedback. Our team remains committed to providing the best possible experience to all our guests.
