Wonderful stay, Govindbhai and the other staff on the premises always provide such a great experience of genteel hospitality.

food quality was good. it is an ancient property that belongs to the raja/maharaja who live there. but on the night that we stayed, there was not light the whole light due to bad weather but there was not alternate arrangement provided. there was not DG set or invertor.

There was no power supply in the hotel the whole night. It was due to rain but there was no alternate arrangements.

The rooms were big and clean. Breakfast was like homemade.

Ambient is good need to update food services

So we booked the property thinking it would be great hospitality. But our thoughts were completely wrong. The property is a heritage residence of idar royal family. No doubt the property has potential but badly managed. It feels like the owners don’t give a damn about their venture. It is a ‘dharamshala’ in disguise. Me being a hotelier was disappointed with the management. Our room was not clean. The linen was not clean and i got infection from it because it was not washed. Coming to breakfast. What is happening in dining room no body knows. Mismanaged staff. Standard of serving food was pathetic. Food at home is served hot but not at this property. Have a lot to write but ending with a note to the owner. Please personally look for improvements in your property, train your staff or hire sub professional staff. Your property has potential but handed over to the in trained labours i would say.

Finding Location was easier for me.good location silent place, it’s a good experience staying here.staff is very friendly, respectful and responsive 😀loved it most recommended. A very unique experience with maharaja feeling. Very large rooms and open area. This is good place to stay if you dont find much options near polo forest as it is around 1. 5 hours from this property. People travel-ling from ahmedabad can look out for this option. The best part of this property is the food. The mutton cooked here in the form of lal maas was the best part. The dining area is an experience to remember. Dont expect too much from service it is decent 3 star property. Hygiene is good but service levels should improve.

Nice, comfortable stay with family in well-maintained palace. Food quality is really good and personal attention is given to make the stay memorable.

The property is very well maintained however out of three rooms booked one room found with lights problem on request it was changed. Breakfast served was not up to the mark. Request authority to look at such small things also for visitors convenience.

This was a comfortable homestay where service and place was good. Did not book expecting full spread of food so was not disappointed. Some things are not automatically taken care of so check your room when you get in and get the things corrected if they are not working (like lamps, bed was creaky which we realised late and thought not to inform) food was tasty and ajmer ji was responsive apart from some minor things like not getting the mosquito repellent even after asking. Good property, well kept.

Good food, they serve traditional gujarati food which was prepared with higher quality ingredients. Location and palace's interior is historic. Good stay for peaceful environment and service boys are always ready to help you out to solve all your problems. Overall it is good service, you can customize your service requirements.
