CHUNMUN COTTAGE

Horrible is the only word I can use for our stay at Chunmun. dirty linen uncleaned damp smelling room, unprofessional quarreling staff, very rude behaviour of the staff with other guests also. the staff specifically were behaving rude with the guests who booked online. my suggestion, kindly remove it from your list.

Bad service.

The bedsheets were really dirty, service provided by the staff and owner is also very poor. The only good thing was its location.

This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in pachmarhi. The staff at the property are all great, they all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Will definitely stay there when we come back!

Very smelly and dirty room, water is not coming from basin tap and hand spray, dirty bedsheets and pillow cover, they give 1000 rupees room in 5000, very bad experience

We changed the rooms three times but all of them had hygience and cleanliness issues. There was continuous seepage. Toilets were not at all good

The staff was helpful. We had a decent stay. Amenities as described.

Rooms and cottages are not as shown in photos. No running water in morning. Unhygienic kitchen. Worst service.

Missed in sanitization and cleanliness. Rooms were stinky and furniture from the outside. From inside it's like a hostel. Bed was so bad you would prefer to sleep on floor. After so much request and rejection they changed the room to a new one that was good.

Hard to find location. So-so cleanliness and average room interior.

For early check in not a single room was available for us. We requested them to provide a waiting room or hall to stay there and put our luggages. They don't have such type of arrangement even a common toilet for visitors are early check in customers. I requested them to arrange common toilet owner said that there is no common toilet you have to wait for 2 and half hour until the any room will vacant. I requested them to construct common toilet immediately within 24 hours because other construction is going on there hotel. But the owner ignored it. We request you to take strictly action about this matter.

Chunmum Cottage is hardly a hotel nor is it a cottage. It is some rooms in somebody's house. It is outside the main city and requires conveyance if you need to go anywhere. It is untidy and dirty, with spit marks on the walls. The food area was covered by temporary tarpaulins. The window opened to a small garden, where people had put their laundry to dry. Chunmum has no facilities. It is a bare room with one sofa placed outside. It is located inconveniently. It is best avoidable. There are much better accommodations available near this place, owned by MP tourism. Try to get accommodation there. Avoid Chunmum unless you are getting a good rate.

Very bad experience, it is far from truth.

Room is quite good. Other facilities are not available. As per the per day rent of room. I am not satisfied and very costly in less facilities.
No geyser. Water heater for hot water is available in bathroom. So no hot water 24 hours. It was available only for 8 to 10 morning. No intercom or bell facility to contact reception and not given any room service.

Food service only in timings.

Location and food was good but the attitude of management was not humble as it should be. We asked for multiple things and the service was bit slow and the staff was not so cooperative.
The room size was good but bathroom was not clean and the biggest issue was with the flush that it was not working at all. The tap of wash basin had leakage and we were unable to close it properly.

Horrible stay, located bit far from main Town.
Unclean, no electricity, no hot water.
