Captain's Camp

We had a memorable stay at Captain’s Camp. The rooms and toilets were clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a family. The highlight was the delicious home-cooked Malnadu vegetarian cuisine, which gave us a true taste of the region. Mr. Sujay Hegde, an ex-Army veteran, is a gracious host who is passionate about serving guests and was happy to share inspiring stories from his time at the LoC. The rooms are thoughtfully stocked with a wonderful selection of books, and with no television, we enjoyed quality family time reading and playing board games. During our visit in late September-25, it was raining, so we could not participate in the adventure activities, but they seem well-planned and ideal for groups. Overall, it was a refreshing and meaningful experience, very different from regular commercial stays. We look forward to visiting again in the future to experience more of what Captain’s Camp has to offer.

captain’s camp exceeded all my expectations for a getaway spot immersed in nature. the machan accommodation was unique and memorable — elevated and cozy, offering spectacular views over the lush landscape. every morning felt special waking up to such peaceful scenery. the home-cooked meals were a delight. it’s clear a lot of care goes into the food, which was both flavorful and comforting, adding to the authentic camp experience. the range of activities makes this place stand out. the sunset trek was especially unforgettable — watching the sky change colors over the hills was truly magical. i also loved the plantation tour, which was insightful and relaxing. the staff are welcoming and attentive, and the overall atmosphere makes it easy to unwind and appreciate nature. would absolutely recommend captain’s camp to anyone wanting a relaxing and rejuvenating escape!

what an amazing nature camp😍 it's very close to sirsi town, hardly 1.3km but the location is class... beautiful. had a wonderful interaction during reception by captain. well maintained property and my cottage is super clean, and has lots of books to read😀 . it's an ac cottage but frankly you don't need ac here specially in rainy season 😁. loved the place

I stayed one night and morning vacated. road to location is hard. owner is a retired army Officer. treatment is more than excellent. place is also wonderful.

Ot was a nice place to stay.neat and tidy atmosphere. Break fast was good and host should a great hospitality.

Breakfast was amazing, especially the delicious kotte idli. A peaceful getaway and a great base for exploring nearby places like yana, jog falls, sonda matt and more.

The camp was amazing very well maintained, they had both tent stay and executive cottages as well the best among these was the tree house which was beautiful. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was a great way to unwind and connect with nature, while still having all the comforts of home. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful yet fun getaway!

It was very amazing to be here enjoying the nature, the vibe is very homely. You would love this when you are with friends, having adventures and sports.

The place is very peaceful, beautiful ambience and vibrant scenaries. However the only drawback is, it's very expensive.
