The stay was really great. Especially the hospitality was top notch. The staffs were really nice and friendly. The view was superb (lake side view room). The food was also great thanks to the chef Jobin. The room service was also nice thanks to benah as he was really polite and considerate and finally Libin mathew the assistant property manager he really helped us to explore the property and gave overview of the nearby tourist places. Overall it was a memorable trip with great stay.

Perched right on the edge of the breathtaking Idukki Reservoir, the views from the resort are simply magnificent. Waking up to the misty hills and the serene waters every morning was an unforgettable experience. It's a perfect spot for nature lovers looking for peace and tranquility. The dining experience was great. We tried the Breakfast Buffet and Dinner and the food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and the staff were very attentive during meals. The staff at Avadale Idukki were exceptional. From check-in to check-out, everyone was polite, professional, and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Their warm hospitality truly elevated the whole experience. Overall, our stay at Avadale Idukki was a fantastic and much-needed break. It’s the perfect blend of natural beauty, tranquility, and warm hospitality. I highly recommend this boutique resort to families, couples, and nature lovers looking for a peaceful retreat in Idukki.

Staff is absolutely clueless. Rooms are small and unclean. Service is slow. Food is below average. Only good thing is the view from the property. Staff was slow, property was unclean, the only good thing was view from the property.

Beautiful location surrounded by cardamom and tea plantations. Little off road for the last 500mtres , So low chasis vehicles might find little difficulty in climbing the road. View from the balcony is picturesque and idukki dam surrounded by beautiful valley and meadows. Excellent hospitality from the staff members-Mr.Libin(A.Manager), Chef-Mr. SK(Excellent and tasty food), Mr. Bena for Excellent service. Must visit place. Kids enjoyed the stay.

Excellent Hospitality and Service I had a wonderful experience at this resort. The hospitality was outstanding, and every staff member I interacted with — from reception to housekeeping to the kitchen — was polite, attentive and genuinely caring. Rooms were well maintained, food was delicious, and everything felt thoughtfully managed. Truly a place that makes guests feel welcome and valued.

I stayed with my family and stay location is awesome for the tranquility. Food was good but spread was limited, as the rooms were less. Entertainment options include table tennis, carroms,chess etc

The place is neat and tidy, and while the rooms are compact, they're suitable for couples. The food is average, but given the limited options in the vicinity, it's advisable to opt for dinner inclusions in your booking package. The service staff is friendly and attentive.

We opted for the Dinner + Breakfast combo and it was absolutely worth it. The buffet dinner included Jeera Rice, Chapati, Chicken Curry, Chicken Fry and more – all well-prepared and tasty. Breakfast was equally nice with options like Plain Dosa, Masala Dosa, Idli, Bread, Aloo Porotta, etc. The location is excellent, just about 1 km of a small off-road stretch, but once you reach, the view from the balcony overlooking the lake and mountains is truly breathtaking. The property provides hot water in the rooms, which was convenient. Unfortunately, due to heavy rains we couldn’t enjoy the campfire facility, but it’s available. There is also a small play area/activities for kids which is a plus. Overall, everything about the stay was overpowered by the majestic view of the lake. The property is also conveniently located near Kalvary Mount viewpoint, making it a great choice for travelers. Highly recommend for nature lovers and families looking for a peaceful stay! 🌿✨

I had an incredible experience staying at this hotel nestled high in the calvary mount idukki . The location is absolutely breathtaking — surrounded by serene nature, fresh mountain air, and stunning panoramic view of idduki lake. A special mention to the hotel manager Mr Abhijeet, who was extremely professional, friendly, and always available to assist with any requests. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly elevated our stay and they also upgraded my room which have beautiful lake view from balcony. Equally impressive was the head chef Mr S.K the food was beyond expectations! Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, using fresh local ingredients. Overall, a perfect blend of warm hospitality, gourmet food, and a spectacular mountain setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and recharge in nature without compromising on comfort or quality.

Nice compact hotel, just 9 rooms, all rooms with spectacular view and fresh breeze over Idukki reservoir. Excellent dining room with views, buffet breakfast, made-to-order munch/dinner. Very nice rooms, immaculately kept property everywhere. Flowering bushes, exotic plants. Very serene and perfectly quiet at night. Soft lighting on property makes it nice to walk around and just sit on the clean benches and enjoy.
