This hotel is definitely highly recommended. All the hotel staff are very polite and helpful. It has made my stay enjoyable. Transport is also conveinent. There is just a train station which is only about 3 minutes from the hotel lobby. You can either choose to take a taxi or train whichever is also very convenient.

Such a nice property.. I love to stay there located centrally but is in an area where there can be heavy traffic but just because for location I recommend this hotel again and again.. Breakfast was class.. Like travelling solo to Beijing after a business trip in another city in China. I wanted to make my travel as easy as possible, and staying at this hotel looked like it would meet my needs. It is a brand I trust with good rooms and amenities. So, if I find myself in Beijing again, I would definitely book again at the JW ONLY..

A solid business hotel close to the offices I was visiting. On balance everything was OK. The breakfast and dinner buffets were great with a really good choice and good quality food. The staff in the restaurant very good and helpful, although English standard wasn't great. The gymn and the pool are also highlights of the hotel. Some minor niggles though; reception staff were quite terse and not particularly welcoming. The room smelt of smoke (even though requested non smoking) and the in-room coffee was terrible (a coffee maker was provided, but the coffee itself taste of tar), and no English tea provided. On balance I would stay again due to the proximity to my offices, but there are probably better hotels for the money in Beijing.

The stay was wonderful and only marred by the reservations team who initially would not honor our booking made through Hotel Travel as we were on a delayed flight and missed the first of a 2-night booking. When we phoned to ensure we still had a room on the 2nd night, we were told that our booking was cancelled and that we will have to buy a room at rack price for the night we had already paid for. The reservation desk clerk was initially refusing but after a heated exchange agreed to consult her colleagues and finally confirmed that we will be able to check in for the 2nd night. The rest of the stay was most enjoyable and I will recommend the Grand Hyatt again, just don't miss your check in day.

Possibly, this hotel are proud to be ridicule their guests technically, especially technique on how to runaway from service for specific quest. It was low quality breakfast and services in consideration of it's price. Working air purifier were definitely not enough on serious air pollution of beijing. Noisy out and inside with exceptional room.

* There are problems with English, but somehow there is always someone who can help. They also can help you to get a taxi and tell the driver where you want to go (because drivers don`t understand English). * They don’t give invoice if you don’t ask and not sign it if you forgot to ask. * They can’t rent you a bicycle if you ask now, you should ask previous day and only for day (can’t get it in night). * The swimming pool was closed (we were in June). * Still the service is good and the room was cleaned perfectly so I left a tip more than once.

The apartment was cold. After struggling with the heating system for a day or two we eventually had an oil-filled radiator brought in. This was a huge improvement as long as you stayed within about four feet of the radiator. Provision of toilet paper was Miserable -- not at all what we expected from such an up-market establishment. Surfing the internet cost two yuan a minute -- Expensive.

Front counter person made a few mistakes when I tried to check out. I pointed out the error and got it corrected. I almost got way over charged. The room for internet WiFi was not open at six am and not at night. That room is has strong WiFi signal and was good to work on iPad or laptop. It should be open 24 hours with lights on. Time to time electricity was out in the room. It is confusing if I need to use stairs to go down or not? This is safety concern and is very serious matter.
