A solid business hotel close to the offices I was visiting. On balance everything was OK. The breakfast and dinner buffets were great with a really good choice and good quality food. The staff in the restaurant very good and helpful, although English standard wasn't great. The gymn and the pool are also highlights of the hotel. Some minor niggles though; reception staff were quite terse and not particularly welcoming. The room smelt of smoke (even though requested non smoking) and the in-room coffee was terrible (a coffee maker was provided, but the coffee itself taste of tar), and no English tea provided. On balance I would stay again due to the proximity to my offices, but there are probably better hotels for the money in Beijing.

* There are problems with English, but somehow there is always someone who can help. They also can help you to get a taxi and tell the driver where you want to go (because drivers don`t understand English). * They don’t give invoice if you don’t ask and not sign it if you forgot to ask. * They can’t rent you a bicycle if you ask now, you should ask previous day and only for day (can’t get it in night). * The swimming pool was closed (we were in June). * Still the service is good and the room was cleaned perfectly so I left a tip more than once.

The hotel was very well furnished. The staff where also very professional and friendly, however communication was at times difficult due to language barriers. The hotel is located quite central to Beijing CBD with the Olympic Green, Forbidden City and other temples and site seeing spots all nearby. I would stay there again.

I have a good time there! Once I left a diamond Rolex watch in the room by negligence before going out for sight seeing, it was still there when I return whereas the room has been tidied up by nicely by the cleaning staff. I appreciated this honest staff in writing and opined the relevant a great asset of the hotel.

I booked this hotel for my parents because of its location and my friends had recommended it to me. But was very disappointed with the service as when my parents asked to get a cab no one helped them and they had to walk all the way to get one. Also when they asked for water bottle they refused to provide them. It was very disappointing and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone now inspite of its affordable rates as there r many hotels in this price range and location

Such a nice property.. I love to stay there located centrally but is in an area where there can be heavy traffic but just because for location I recommend this hotel again and again.. Breakfast was class.. Like travelling solo to Beijing after a business trip in another city in China. I wanted to make my travel as easy as possible, and staying at this hotel looked like it would meet my needs. It is a brand I trust with good rooms and amenities. So, if I find myself in Beijing again, I would definitely book again at the JW ONLY..

The room is smaller than the earlier ones I stayed in, overlooks a terrace, smelly. The receptionist at front desk when I checked in at 9. 00 pm sounded rude as if I had made a mistake staying with them. Never going to stay again and none of them smile. The hotel earlier used to have many foreigners and the food was for multi cultural clientele but I saw most of them were domestic tourists and focus shifted to them. Only good aspect of the hotel is it’s location, but hospitality is alien to them. This is largely true to most hotels in China
